Valhalla Event

My first time reading the letter from King Ralph XI post Valhalla Invasion, I find a goodies sack in it. Thing is, my last ascension was softcore. Does everyone get a sack now or is there some other condition? (I went into Valhalla with 200+ karma, for example.) --Club (#66669) (Talk) 21:13, 31 May 2011 (UTC)

• Not sure, but (I think) I got a sack after ascending after a casual ascension. I think it's a default ascension reward now (reflecting the relative unimportance of it now, I guess).--Foggy 01:46, 1 June 2011 (UTC)

    • Everyone gets it. It's part of removing the dependency on lead-ins. Lead-ins are completely irrelevant now this way. If there is a bug with this, it's that Bad Moon gets the gems, too, and that lets them to get to about 4 without spending a turn, since you can buy hell food and skills right away. --Flargen 02:37, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
