Clarification needed: Is it just using the cameras, or using the *shaking* cameras?--AltyMcAltAlt 13:10, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, it's just using the cameras. I had used 38, used one, opened it, no trophy, used a second, and even though I'm unable to use the shaking camera until after rollover tomorrow, I now have the option to buy the trophy. --TelcontarNuva 05:40, 4 April 2010 (UTC)
Additionally, is this single ascension, or lifetime? --Bonkbonk 06:09, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
Probably life-time if they discovered it already (someone must have already had the prerequisites, I doubt that someone would randomly use 40 of them in a day) --Eror11 15:29, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
- True... especially now that I realize that you can only use one shaking 4-d camera in a day, and a max of two 4-d cameras in one day. --Bonkbonk 06:47, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
- ...although, now that I think about it, the trophy could have been acquired by someone who has been using 4-d cameras one a day, every day, for a very long ascension... so I suppose my question may still have some merit. --Bonkbonk 09:38, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
- I think it's lifetime, considering that the guy who added the page hasn't had a particularly long ascension. --Bigcalm 08:44, 6 March 2010 (UTC)
- Lifetime. Confirmed (since it was generally known but not explicitly stated here). --Duty 21:48, 16 February 2011 (UTC)
- I'm not convinced it's lifetime. I've just grepped my KoLmafia session logs, and I have exactly 40 lines matching 'elbie uses the 4-d', but the trophy isn't available to me. --Elbie 15:54, 2 August 2011 (CEST)
- Well, I finally got it at 42 usages, and it clearly wasn't all done in one ascension, but it was definitely more than 40 usages. Not sure what's going on there. --Elbie 17:26, 8 August 2011 (CEST)
