Talk:Pumpkin bomb
When used, You acquire an effect: Everything Looks Yellow (duration: 149 Adventures) Everything Looks Yellow: Your vision has been stained yellow. Now, everything you look at that's little and different looks like a Nuprin. --Boozeogre 05:27, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
- Sure that isn't from the he-boulder yellow beam? --Fxer 05:30, 3 November 2010 (UTC)
- It's possible that a new mechanic is being used here - pumpkin bombs and yellow rays do the same thing and work under the same counter, so instead of making it vague, they added the effect so you can keep tabs. That is, use a pumpkin bomb and you can't use a hebo for 150 turns. Use the hebo and you can't use a pumpkin for 150 turns (It's all just visible now instead of hidden). - Is it possible to funksling it? --HasteBro 22:24, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
- Go get two and try it. I can hardly see why you'd bother though since the first one will kill the monster so that the second will not go off. I suppose if you already have "Everything Looks Yellow", then you can sling both, but both will fail for no reason. In other words, there's very little reason to every funksling them. (Yeah, I can think of one extremely borderline case.) --Bale 00:33, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
Does this work on bosses that resist the major yellow ray? --Shademaster00 01:48, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
- It's a yellow ray in everything but the method in which you launch it. In other words, no.--Erich 02:17, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
Hate to bring this up, but the page before this does not explain what exactly the pumpkin bomb actualy does outside of just giving you that effect. Could sombody wittier than me add a description please? While I'm at it, is there another thing that happens when you use a pumpkin bomb with the seeing yellow effect still active? --Tombot 10:20, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
- Why someone other than you? Anyway, copied text from the He-Boulder. Hope that is helpful. --TedPro 17:58, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
What text do you get when you use this against a boss/non-Yellow Rayable critter? I've no bosses to test this against until after Crimbo.--Fluxxdog 12:17, 15 November 2010 (UTC)
When used against a BRICKO gargantuchicken and the trophyfish got this message "You're too scared of this particular monster to get the fuse lit."
