Talk:Rare Items/Previous Mr. Store Items
From A KoL Wiki
Necessary?
Does anyone think this page serves any purpose which Mr. Store#Previous Offerings does not? Sure, it's formatted just like Rare Items, but it's just another place we need to remember to update. --timrem 01:17, 13 April 2012 (CEST)
- Well, this page has got other problems - namely, the MANY uses of InlineItem. I do agree with your point, though - the Mr. Store page is a better reference than this anyway, if for no other reason than it's updated more often. In summary: I say redirect it to Mr. Store#Previous Offerings (and fix any links that break). Oh and by the way, I created this page originally because the Rare Items page was getting so darn huge that it couldn't be edited anymore except section by section. That is still an issue that remains unresolved. --Wrldwzrd89 03:34, 13 April 2012 (CEST)
- Done. I did see that this page was made to clean up Rare Items... and I'm not sure there is a better way to bring that page under control, short of completely reformatting it. Probably stop using {{InlineItem}} and instead using simple links, for one. Possibly implementing a table (but I don't think that would help the situation). Perhaps even scrapping the page and using Categories instead? Despite all those subheadings, we could probably regroup things into 3 or 4 subcategories if we chose that route. (I'd also toss "Formerly rare items", since they're not rare anymore) --timrem 05:04, 13 April 2012 (CEST)
- If I remember, the only real reason to keep the page was to list off the foldable Mr. Store equipment. It's not really necessary.--Toffile 15:39, 13 April 2012 (CEST)
