Talk:Rat appendix chow mein
Changes noticed on Oct. 11, 06
- All the rat appendix chow meins in my inventory briefly showed as "Tofat appendix chow mein" around 9:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time.
- The description now reads
You wouldn't think rodent guts and Chinese food would make a tasty combination, unless you've eaten at some of the less-reputable Chinese places. In that case, you've probably already eaten something a lot like this, you just haven't realized it. So, y'know, you might as well eat this one - at least it's honest.
- Upon eating the rat appendix chow mein, the message displayed is now
You chow down on the rat appendix chow mein. Good chow, man! Your mama would be proud!
I don't know if these changes are permanent or not. The "Tofat appendix chow mein" label only lasted until my next inventory refresh after I ate one. ColtsScore 20:09, 11 October 2006 (CDT)

- Methinks that Tofat appendix chow mein should be given it's own page, but I lack the skillz to do so. Any takers? (as it is a confirmed seperate item, complete with description...) --Barstool 21:57, 11 October 2006 (CDT)
I wonder, why does the description of the rat appendix chow mein show less adventures from consumption (namely 21-28) than this table here: http://kol.coldfront.net/thekolwiki/index.php/Chow_mein
Does that make any sense?
This is the new consumption message that Pastamancers get. Ignore the number of adventures, I had the Got Milk effect:
You chow down on the rat appendix chow mein. Good chow, man! Your mama would be proud!
You gain 30 Adventures.
You gain 74 Cheek.
You gain a Moxie point!
You draw power from the pasta. Delicious power. You gain 26 Mana Points.

A member of my clan reported that the rat appendix chow mein he pulled from the stash gave the consumption message "the mother of the person who made this would be proud." Confirmation? Should this be noted on the page somewhere?--Lukarnis 13:51, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
