Doesn't seem to do anything in the temple ruins or city of gold. Possibly only works in the other areas? Or just has a low rate of triggering. The one time he did find gold for me I had the x-rays equipped. Not sure if theres any interaction there. Discordance (talk) 16:35, 15 February 2015 (UTC)

• I just had him find gold for me: 2 gold. As you mention that you had the x-rays equipped, which gives +5 Luck (and thus gold gain), I'm going to guess he has a +2 gold base that's then affected by Luck. --Terion (talk) 00:46, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
