Does this have any additional effect (like Feast on Carrion's healing)? --MoreUmlaut 11:51, 3 June 2008 (CDT)

It inflicts more damage on successive rounds, although since I was in the Copse I couldn't tell how much. Ponder Stibbons 17:32, 3 June 2008 (CDT)

Level 19 DB, Mus: 261 (192), Mys: 258 (197), Mox: 452 (339). Initial hit did 122, 129, 135, 132, 117 damage. --Prestige 19:07, 7 June 2008 (CDT)

level 11 TT, Musc:166(110)Myst:81(69)Mox:81(67). 38, 20, 12, 7. 44, 22, 13, 7. 44, 19, 11, 6. 40, 18. (Killed the monster.)

Seems it might be something like Myst/2, halved each time. --Jcowley 16:41, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

The damage done by recurrent rounds is not simply half of what was done the previous round. Fighting Spooky Hobos (resistant to elemental damage) in the Ancient Hobo Burial Ground, this skill did 2 damage the first round, followed by another 2 the next round, and 2 more the third round. I suspect this may be a bug with the damage formula.--Knobula 20:40, 20 February 2010 (UTC)

It's possible that you did more than 2 amount of damage the first time - the hobo will just limit it to two when it hits him. Ergo, the halving is done on the damage you would have dealt, instead of actual. Argus 23:36, 20 February 2010 (UTC)

That's probably what it is. Also, I suspect that under normal circumstances the recursive damage done is 1/2 to 3/5 of the damage done the previous round. I've seen it go from 15 to 9, and just now got 28, 16, 9 (3/5 is also the recursive damage done by You're on fire! from the fire spinners and grill sergeants on the battlefield). I will commence to spading now.--Knobula 16:42, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

  • Actually, now that I think about it, that's probably within the normal variance from the 1/2 values. I'll check it out when I get some higher numbers.--Knobula 18:46, 14 March 2010 (UTC)
