Talk:S.O.C.K.
Is there a reason this entry is misspelled? The item in KoL is "S.O.C.K." --Einstein9073 15:45, 17 Jul 2005 (Central Daylight Time)

Any connection between this and the band S.P.O.C.K.? Sci-fi related electronic dance music. The acronym is for "Space Pirates Of Channel K". Or maybe the upside-down beenie illustration means it's a riff on S.M.O.F., the Secret Masters of (sci-fi) Fandom? :Mozai 02:41, 28 Aug 2005 (Central Daylight Time)
I'm pretty sure HALO isn't what the reference says it is, check Wikipedia--Filmore 23:14, 18 September 2006 (CDT)
- Perhaps someone should explain why it is similar to S.O.C.K. or just remove this reference entirely, since S.O.C.K. itself is a general reference to flying ships. Generic flying ships by itself should not be sufficient to justify a reference, otherwise we'd end up with flying ships from all walks of sources.
