Talk:Saucegeyser

From A KoL Wiki

The "see below" comment doesn't seem to reference anything. Does this pick a random sauce stream and then apply a temperature to it? Can, eg, a stream of ketchup be cold or hot? If so then the "see below" perhaps should explain how the tempature is picked (eg, with offhand items). If not then maybe the streams should be color coded for (hot and cold) effect. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 12:53, 12 April 2007 (CDT)

  • The "(see below)" is, in fact, a placeholder for the randomly selected sauce name (which doesn't care whether it's hot or cold). --Quietust (t|c) 14:12, 12 April 2007 (CDT)
  • Thanks for the clarification. I've played sauceror, but I can't remember ever using this skill. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 19:15, 12 April 2007 (CDT)

MP cost to cast this was lowered from 40 to 36 today. --Spiny Twizzler 23:55, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Skill Efficiency

this skill ALWAYS does 8 less damage as compared to Weapon of the Pastalord. check formulas to see how.--The ErosionSeeker 14:38, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

This skill ON AVERAGE does 8 less damage compared to Weapon. Also Weapon is 4MP (9%) cheaper. On the other hand, Intrinsic Spiciness makes up for the former and Jabanero Saucesphere the latter. If you care about minimum damage in a given situation (for instance, seweleveling), Saucegeyser has a tighter spread and higher minimum. And of course, Saucegeyser is part of Sauce Synergy, though that only works as a Sauceror. --Stannius 01:25, 23 February 2012 (CET)

  • This skill does 100% elemental damage, which gets a good bonus if the monster is sensitive to that element. With Immaculate Seasoning the sauce will automatically be the better of hot or cold. Weapon of the Pastalord does 100% physical damage normally, but can be tuned to 50% elemental damage with a non-combat skill or an off-hand item -- more awkward than a passive skill. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 02:13, 23 February 2012 (CET)
