Talk:Save the Dolls/Save the Cardboard
From A KoL Wiki
Remember that stat gains in the basement are variable, so the figures in the article are innaccurate. Also, is this the actual adventure title? --Aardvark 03:02, 28 Jun 2005 (Central Daylight Time)
Wait, what, no "In Soviet Russia, (noun) (verb)s you!" reference explanation? -Fatmus 21:52, 21 October 2006 (CDT)
- It doesn't fit the "In Soviet Russia" format. Now, if the stairs were heading down you, insead of getting headed down by you, then the reference would fit. --Squi 22:33, 21 October 2006 (CDT)
- It's still pretty darn close, especially considering how often the joke is used elsewhere in KoL. Oh well. -Fatmus 23:07, 21 October 2006 (CDT)
Is it possible that this is reference to the popular TV show Heroes? There is a mission in it: "Save the Cheerleader, Save the world". Could this be a reference to this?--Reapaninja 13:20, 30 November 2007 (CST)
- I don't think so since this adventure has been around since before Heros was on air. --Chunky_boo 13:23, 30 November 2007 (CST)
- Might be a reference to "Guys and Dolls" or whatever the musical is called. Especially given the graphic.--Nahtmmm 23:22, 4 May 2008 (CDT)
