Talk:Scandalously Skimpy Bikini

From A KoL Wiki

References

Not sure how to add it so I add it here instead, then someone else can do some sort of rewriting and add it to the article. The first sentance (maybe the second too) of the item description is a reference to the song Itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka dot bikini --The preceding unsigned comment was added by Nitramo (talkcontribs) at 17:53, 13 January 2006 (Central Standard Time).

Enchantment

what's with the enchantment? does it actually do something in game, or just there? also on the sombrero....--Cowdude101 09:28, 15 January 2006 (Central Standard Time)

  • It does what it says...normally you can only have 3 songs effecting you.--D0om 09:59, 15 January 2006 (Central Standard Time)
  • To clarify, songs, in this case, are Accordion Thief buffs. --Cairnarvon 08:22, 17 January 2006 (Central Standard Time)

Multi Equip

It's worth noticing that you can't equip more than one of these items at a time, but only one exists. --Rai 08:22, 12 March 2006 (CST)

Plurality

how was the plural determined Killerrabbit 18:54, 13 February 2007 (CST)

  • epeterso2 got it from the item dump he gets for his display case database. --Quietust (t|c) 19:09, 13 February 2007 (CST)
    • I don't follow. --Raijinili 20:55, 13 February 2007 (CST)
      • Then don't worry about it. --sl1me 21:49, 13 February 2007 (CST)
    • Oh. I get it now. --Raijinili 20:40, 13 April 2007 (CDT)

An explanation of exactly how this plural connects to the Eddie Izzard joke would be nice (for those that would assume that people are somehow confusing this item with the Sombrero De Vida, whose plural form is a very obvious reference to said exact joke). --Quietust (t|c) 19:01, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

  • I come bearing gifts. At 1:04 in particular. --Flargen 19:03, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
    • Unfortunately, YouTube is blocked at work, so I'll have to watch it later. In the meanwhile, it'd be nice if you could update the reference to better describe which part of the joke the reference covers. --Quietust (t|c) 20:02, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
      • Took a look at it...yeah, he does say "Slut Bum Wallah" at one point. It's also less than 2 minutes long, so pointing out the exact connection is kind of pointless.--Toffile 20:35, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
        • Eh, the reference could still use some improving, which I have now done for this page and the sombrero de vida. The joke itself, and that clip in particular, are all part of Izzard's "Dressed to Kill" show, which I highly recommend to anyone who hasn't seen it. --Flargen 20:43, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
