Why does thing have such ludicrously high health? I have to use pufferfish spines just to kill it. I mean jeez.--Tombot (talk) 23:27, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
- It's a group monster and responds well to area effect spells. I blasted them with Saucegeysers and didn't have too many problems. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 23:37, 12 April 2013 (UTC)
- I funkslinged a pair of crayon shavings, then used LTS. The deleveling effect really increased the amount of damage I dealt. They went down in about 15 rounds. Buffed muscle was about 1200. Another thing I tried was using a pulled orange taffy. That added about 250 damage per round. --Megustalapasta (talk) 10:18, 3 May 2013 (UTC)
This is potentially a reference to "the many", the hivemind antogonists from System Shock 2.
While I'm at it, the lost clownfish and lost blue tang messages are referring to Finding Nemo (and probably Finding Dory coming 2015), as Nemo = clownfish and Dory = blue tang. --Graymalkin (#624900) (talk) 01:13, 13 April 2013 (UTC)
From what I have managed to kill so far, these seem like a decent source of rough fish scales, provided you can get over the huge health pool.--Tombot (talk) 13:15, 14 April 2013 (UTC)
So this is just an observation from me, but I seemed to get a disproportionately high amount of critical hits while fighting this enemy specifically, one every round. This was while I was playing the "11,037 Leagues Under the Sea" path while under the "Mark of Candy Cain". I was effectively able to get each of the Arena weapons maxed out in one turn. I don't know if this is an intentional mechanic, but either way it is super useful.--Tombot (talk) 02:40, 19 August 2025 (UTC)
