Does the snakehead charrrm still drop at any level, after NS13?!? I just spent 60 adventures there, have 3 arrrgyle socks, but no snakehead charrrm... Just bad RNG luck? --Luos 05:34, 28 June 2007 (CDT)

Unless I'm mistaken, you can't get any snakehead charrrm until you start the Quest for the Holy MacGuffin. I have no clue yet about the drop rate. I added a rewrite request. Schmorgluck 04:25, 13 July 2007 (CDT)

I went looking for the snakehead charrrm and spent roughly 100 adventures without even encountering the shifty pirate adventure. The pirate started appearing only after I obtained your father's MacGuffin diary, so I would have to agree with Schmorgluck that it is unobtainable until the L11 quest has been started.--Thoughtstipated 10:40, 22 August 2007 (CDT)

The pirate does indeed appear normally even before level 11. The problem stems from the Cove's incredibly high non-combat rate. About 50% of my adventures are non-combats, and the Shifty pirate becomes very hard to catch because of this. It's best to adventure here with combat increasers if any are available.--McFrugal 22:28, 19 September 2007 (CDT)

I just fought fought the shifty pirate and received the normal flaregun, and sunken chest, but I also received a Jolly Roger charrrm. Wanted to know if anyone else has been getting this before or after NS13 or the latest update to the Obligatory Pirate's Cove.--Klown Slayer 16:38, 5 December 2007
