Talk:Slick fish meat
The stats for this were added by somebody on a stat day. just a guess, but they probably forgot to take that into account.--Alabit 10:58, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
- Consuming one slick fish meat on a Moxie day gave me 5 substats, so I guess maybe there's a range?--Amazing 17:19, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
- I got two adventures and 8 substats --Darkling 10:19, 14 October 2008 (UTC)
- I also got two adventures (and 7 substat) but the fish was purchased at Chez Snootee. --RogerMexico 00:27, 2 November 2008 (UTC)
Is there anything specifically in the show that would be evidence of TPTB referencing the show? Granted, a quick search in Google has the show as the first hit, but I have doubts about people Jick's age watching children's TV; more likely it is just the content writer waxing poetic. --BagatelleT/C 23:48, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
Stealthy change to Got Milk and fish meat?
Today, just for trying it out, I used milk of magnesium (and drank some sake for fishy-effect extension) and ate 15 bits of slick fish meat, expecting the 2-3 turn range:
You pop the raw fish into your mouth and swallow it. A few seconds later, you feel it starting a dance party in your stomach. You gain 4 Adventures. You gain 4 Smarm. The fish mixes with the warm sake in your belly. Satisfying! You acquire an effect: Fishy (duration: 15 Adventures) You lose some of an effect: Got Milk (1 Adventure)
This indicates that Got Milk actually does have an effect on fish meat now. The adventure gains were as follows, with enough turns of the effect for all of them:
4 / 3 / 3 / 4 / 3 / 4 / 3 / 4 / 4 / 4 / 4 / 3 / 4 / 4 / 4
Has someone tested out sushi with this yet since the kitchen got introduced? -- Ruby Eyes 14:45, 14 September 2010 (UTC)
