Hah! After numerous unsuccessful encounters with the skullbat (at Level 7) despite increased item drops (even at one point wasting cyclops eyedrops, in conjunction with a 28# gravy fairy and hearts of lavender and green), I finally decided to try using my guardian, a level-8 undead elbow macaroni. That worked the very first time. Was it chance, or a requirement for the drop? To be spaded. --Lumeria 22:13, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
