I don't have the text, but after a few failures against Cyrus, you can't fight him anymore - he thanks you for the genes, beats you up, and runs off. After that picking the "upwards" choice results in just gaining a ~40 Myst. --Jaolen 16:59, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
Seems to take 3 amino acids to enable the choice. Also, i fed cyrus the ML gene, and then the next time i fought him it said he was more agressive, then the muscle gene, and the next fight said he was stronger and more agressive, then i fed him the init gene. After he 'thanked' me, the up option changed into a +40~50 mus noncom. --Fireyflame 19:18, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
I got 48 Moxie for returning after defeating Cyrus. It could just be +40-50 randomstat.--Nightvol 17:46, 4 June 2009 (UTC)
I don't think it's random. It's not mainstat because I was a seal clubber at the time, and I doubt it's random because I did it multiple times (I tried it like 3-4 times before I realized that the quest was done). It still could be random, but it doesn't seem likely. --Jaolen 16:55, 6 June 2009 (UTC)
Muscle Reward
You swam up into the yellowness. It was so bright, so warm. You basked in the light and the heat, feeling yourself thicken, grow more virile. You experienced smugness and arrogance.
You gain 49 Strengthliness.
Eventually, you got tired, your stomach organelle began to rumble, and you swam back down into the orangeness in search of food.

"You gain 42 Fortitude"
This stat gain was sufficient to give me a full point in Muscle. My stats were Mus 212(173), Mys 251(230), Mox 190(169). This was not on a stat day, and I was a level 16 Sauceror. ML was set to +10, with no other stat-gain equipment or buffs. --Krendel, June 10, 2009 at 2:10pm EDT
Stat Gains
Gave 48 moxie as a level 6 character and 46 as a level 26 character, so... Looks like a flat range. As a myst class:
Frequency | Gains | |
---|---|---|
Mus | 15 | 40-50 |
Mys | 13 | 40-50 |
Mox | 12 | 40-50 |
Even ranges and distribution. --TechSmurf 09:11, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
