Talk:Spew Poison
Is there a reason this skill is marked permable? I strongly doubt that it is. Has anyone permed it? -Jatopian 19:57, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
Pre-update Discussion
Does this skill actually do anything? I haven't seen anything happen when I use it. Even knowing that the use text is missing, it should still have some effect on the monster, but I can go for 20 rounds without any noticeable change.--Terrabull 21:07, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
- None that i was aware of. i'm afraid the skill isn't fully "public" --Hrag 21:18, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
Damage
Seems to depend on the level of poisoning and duration. Majorly Poisoned gives 25 damage/turns-remaining. Hardly Poisoned at All gives 5 damage/turns-remaining.. --Fig bucket 18:04, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
this is probably one of the most powerful 1-hit skills, if you eat 5 caviars, you will have 250 turns of it, then after you use spew, you deal a massive 6250 damage.--The ErosionSeeker 14:25, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- hm... i wonder if there's any cap --Hrag 17:16, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- It's only hardly poisoned, but there is no cap to the number of marzipan skulls you can buy and eat in a day. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 17:42, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- Obtaining vials of brown slime takes a while, but I don't think there's a cap on consuming them. --Itsatrap 19:00, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- I think Hrag meant a cap on the damage from the skill regardless of how poisoned you are. --timrem 20:51, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
- I figured that, and was just suggesting a way to get a lot of poisoning. Since hardly poisoned is 5x turns, and majorly is 25x, and skulls give only 5 turns of poisoned, you'd need a lot of skulls. But they are available from an NPC store, and have no usage limit, so it's only meat. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 22:46, 20 August 2010 (UTC) Addendum: checking, I see there are a lot in the mall for less than the NPC store charges, so it's less meat than I thought. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 22:51, 20 August 2010 (UTC)

- Currently dusty bottles of wine are even more cost effective, assuming there's a 50/50 chance of getting majorly poisoned by pouring them into the glyph chamber. They could go up to 500 meat in the mall before the skulls start to win out. (Although the skulls would be a lot less annoying to deal with in bulk.) --Starwed 18:18, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
- HA! Leaflet gives you limitless Hardly Poisoned at no cost at all. (Just keep drinking the Giant's shots.) Would be a quick way to test whether there's a cap, and exploit it if there's not. :) --Starwed 18:38, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
- Excellent ideas. Unfortunately it'll be quite a while till i'll be able to get either to glyph chamber or to alive giant in the strange leaflet to try them out myself :/ --Hrag 18:23, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
- Did 1,001,300 damage to a tower monster after stacking poison from giant shots. If there is a cap, it's bigger than that. --Lorddave 23:51, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
- i decided to test against Guy Made of Bees. Easiely killed him without any hand mirrors (pic here). I'll test the higher amounts later --Hrag 21:15, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
- At some point in the autumn/winter it was made impossible to stack "poisoned" from the giant shots. Another "drink right/left" choice doesn't add to the 10 poison turns. --Hrag 10:33, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
Can you use this with the 'toad in the hole' effect?--Tombot 23:57, 20 August 2010 (UTC)
