I suspect that combat use delevels or weakens the trees, contantly failing to hit the monster with the Ax of L'rose without it, but hitting for about 26-36 with. --DJ RBK 15:30, 27 October 2009 (UTC)

This is definitely some sort of deleveler when used in combat. I simply could NOT hit The Man. I'd used several knob goblin stink bombs and a handful of sand earlier in the fight and I still couldn't hit him at that point. I funkslinged 2 spooky sap and was able to land the blow.--Spiny Twizzler 22:13, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
