I have reproduced some of the insults collected so far and their matching retorts into the table below. Aiming to spade for comprehensive data on this to be able to finalise into some sort of reference list or something. -- Nineheadeddragon

Definitely need to use the book of insults a few times to learn new options for the game. Also. I noticed that not all the insults given to you are correct in the battles, it seems that only the ones where you gained Embarressment effect are the right ones, and which are then added to your repertoire. Needs more spading on this.
For "not a single man", the retort is "It only seems that way because you haven't learned to count to one." And yeah, it seems that the pirate gets embarrassed when responding with one of the five starting retorts, to give you a clue that those won't work for you. -- KidMissile
"que diciste?" / "que dijiste?"
My Spanish is pretty terri... well, non-existent, so I'm not going to edit the main page here just yet, but I notice that the game text reads
- You turn around and address the barrr: "Hey, does anyone else have a crew I can join?" A general chorus of "no for u," "no n00bs" "que dijiste?" and "no how 2 bilge?" answers you.
It's only one letter (diciste / dijiste) and neither makes any damn sense to me. --MadKingSoupII 21:25, 14 October 2011 (CEST)
