Talk:Stringozzi Serpent

From A KoL Wiki

You call forth a serpent made of stringozzi. The serpent is subtil, and bites your opponent for x damage, poisoning him. Your opponent writhes as it takes x/2 damage from the poison.

At level 14 with 218 myst the damage seems to range from 47-68 with additional poison damage on the same round at half the original. Judge Omega 04:52, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

They used the spelling "subtil"? Way to look illiterate. Or trying too hard to be affected. (Yeah, I checked, it is a valid, but obsolete, spelling of "subtle".) --Club (#66669) (Talk) 06:13, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

  • Or it's a reference to the KJV bible passage: "Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made." -- Starker 12:22, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

"Or trying too hard to be affected." -Club What do you mean by that? And what is the effect of hating on someone with infinite power over you in the game?Judge Omega 06:54, 1 May 2010 (UTC)

Elemental changing effects

Damage formula

I have a first approximation of the damage formula kolspading forum: base 16-40, +25% buffed myst (capped at 30), bonus spell damage capped at 60. -Greycat 15:34, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

because the serpent deals 1/2 poison until finish, shouldn't it be about double of SMS; stuffed mortar shell?

New damage formula caps: did 105 with tons of absolute spell damage as a TT. Did 210 with tons of absolute spell damage as a PM. So, looks like 30/60. But! The PM had the passive +10% spell damage... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lotsofphil (talkcontribs) on 15:28, 18 November 2013
