Talk:Suburban security civilian

From A KoL Wiki

While trying to spade Deft Hands, I used a divine can of silly string (with 61 buffed myst) and it did 39 damage. So there's some physical resistance, but now I have to spade two things to figure out what the hell's going on. (This is consistent with 61*1.25 = 76.25, rounded up => 77, 50% physical resistance on the monster subtracts 38, leaving 39. But the rounding needs to be confirmed with a non-resistant monster first.) --Greycat (talk) 14:40, 25 October 2013 (UTC)

  • OK, verified 61->77 with Deft Hands against a non-resistant monster. So 50% physical resistance on the SSC fits the data. --Greycat (talk) 14:47, 25 October 2013 (UTC)

It's always "(first name) (last name), Neighborhood Cop". Should we rename the page to Neighborhood Cop? --Yatsufusa (talk) 17:38, 25 October 2013 (UTC)

  • No, because this is what Manuel calls him. —Yendor (talk) 17:40, 25 October 2013 (UTC)

My manual called him "The Suburban Neighborhood Task Force" --Plater (t|c) 19:44, 25 October 2013 (UTC)

    • Its discussion his organisation in the entries. The name for the monster is suburban security civilian but he is a member of The Suburban Neighborhood Task Force. Discordance (talk) 21:10, 25 October 2013 (UTC)

Drops

The unused walkie-talkie seems to be a conditional drop, it didn't drop after yellow raying. --Nappa (talk) 17:02, 25 October 2013 (UTC)

I collected 900+ names between the vandal the the security guy. After sort/uniq there were about 500 names. I put them all here. First column is monster image name, second monster name. If no one digs into the generation rules, I can get to it in a couple of days. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 04:58, 26 October 2013 (UTC)

Rename Page?

So, why are we calling it the suburban security civilian, would it not be better for everyone to just use "neighborhood cop"? It's in the generated name, and unlike the Infernal Officer, its title is always the same. I actually couldn't find this page until I back-searched it through the Trick or Treat page.--The ErosionSeeker (talk) 14:43, 29 October 2013 (UTC)

  • The page shouldn't be moved since this is the name the manual gives it however there probably should be a redirect to this page from neighborhood cop. --Chunky_boo (talk) 15:41, 29 October 2013 (UTC)
    • Redirect is done. --Yatsufusa (talk) 20:17, 29 October 2013 (UTC)
      • Moved, all redirects must be fully lowercase. — Cool12309 (talk) 20:23, 29 October 2013 (UTC)
