Talk:Summon BRICKOs
Eye
there's probably a limit on eye bricks you can summon per day. As far as i can tell the limit is probably 3—Preceding unsigned comment added by Icon315 (talk • contribs)
- Limit's definitely 3. Summoned a _lot_ and got 682 normal bricks and still just 3 eye bricks. --GoldS 06:26, 3 February 2010 (UTC)

Just examining the data here, it looks like maybe the first eye has a 50% chance of showing up per summon, second eye 40%, and third eye 30%. If that's true, you'd expect 1/0.5 + 1/0.4 + 1/0.3 = 7.83 casts to get all three eyes. The average number of casts to get all three eyes with the current data shown on this page is 7.56, with an average of 1.85 casts to get the first, 2.64 more after the first to get the second, and 3.08 more after the second to get the third. --RoyalTonberry 18:57, 14 February 2010 (UTC)
- It does seem to be some kind of decreasing chance. The fact though that no one yet has reported more than 3 casts to get the first eye suggests though that it's not just a 50% chance. --Prestige 00:38, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
I just got my first eye brick on my 4th summon, so if there's a cap for the first one, it's not 3.--Jcowley 00:50, 17 February 2010 (UTC)
I have found in the last month or so that it can take a lot more summons in order to get my third eye brick -- up to 18 casts lately (only 12 today). Until a few weeks ago, I think I always got 3 eyes within 11 summons. Has there been a change? --StorellaDeville 23:11, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
Eyes today at 2, 12, 16. I see some similar values in the information posted here already. But lately, like I said, it seems like all of mine are out there at the end. Know what I mean? --StorellaDeville 21:22, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
Probably NOT a Hitchhiker's reference.
There's nothing really to associate it, particularly (IIRC) the item of furniture in Hitchhiker's was a sofa. Though I could be wrong on that. --Kay Dekker 01:40, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
- Does not look like a HHGTG ref to me either. Nor, to preemptively squash the idea, does it look like a reference to The Curious Sofa. But I highly recommend the latter book to Edward Gorey fans. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 06:18, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
- Doesn't the thing about sofas and eddies come from 'Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency', anyway? Not entirely sure as I don't have a copy of either to hand... --Campboy 18:14, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
- One of the Dirk Gently books has a sofa getting stuck in a stairwell in an impossible way. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 18:46, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
- The first one. A door opens randomly in a wall later in the book. :) -- sulfur 23:58, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
