Talk:Summon Crimbo Candy
Usages
So, how many times per day can this be used? Something tells me Jick's not about to allow infinite candy/day :P --Camperdave 05:19, 25 December 2009 (UTC)
- From the description:
- Allows you to summon 3 pieces of Crimbo candy once a day.
- So, sounds like once a day. -- sulfur 19:09, 25 December 2009 (UTC)
Yes, it is definitely once per day, 3 pieces each summons. Though I guess upon ascending after using it once, one can use it again. --StorellaDeville 21:23, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
Making skill Permanent
Shouldn't there be a mention somewhere, in the item's page, the skill's page or both, that this is a skill that can be permed or works like a tome, libram, or grimoire? I'm looking for a hint. This will determine when I use the cookbook. --StorellaDeville 20:54, 1 January 2010 (UTC)
- It's not automatically permed, so I guess it's a skill that can be permed. I'll find out in roughly 9 days, when I ascend. -- Ruby Eyes 12:56, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
- Stupid me, I just found the multi on which I permed it already. So, it's a skill that can be permed. -- Ruby Eyes 13:01, 12 February 2010 (UTC)
Thank you. A few runs ago I chose it from the list of skills that could be permed, just like skills from the guild trainer. I wonder if it's always Hardcore Permanent when chosen, though -- I only do Hardcore runs. Anyone know? PS: It's a fun little skill, and cheap (1-3MP) per usage. --StorellaDeville 21:23, 17 April 2010 (UTC)
References
Its crimbo somewhere is a reference to "it is 5 o'clock somewhere." I dont know whether that is a common phrase or has an origin from a movie or actor.--Inspector Gadget 07:35, 25 December 2009 (UTC)
"it's 5 o'clock some where" are statements made in regards to drinking alcohol earlier in the day (morning to afternoon) than is typically seen as acceptable (ie late afternoon). Example: Some one cracks open a beer at 1pm and another person asks them about drinking so early, the drinker replies with "it's 5 o'clock some where" though I more commonly hear 4 o'clock but maybe we just drink earlier here. "It's 5 O'clock Somewhere" is the name of an Alan Jackson song. --Yunatwilight 18:18, 25 December 2009 (UTC)
Summoning
Today I used the skill and got 2 pecans and 1 piece of peppermint bark, so it's not guaranteed that you'll get 1 of each.--GoldS 04:12, 26 December 2009 (UTC)

Okay, this seems to have an image now. How do I set it up on the wiki? Or can someone do it? --Lxndr 01:07, 3 December 2012 (CET)
