Mechanics

  • Taking a look at the collected data here: http://kolspading.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=3646 it looks like there's a flat 8-9% chance of one of the three rare summons, with no diminishing returns on rares like party favors. The above data is a bit below that (a smidge above 5% on all three days) but my assumption is that's just rng and a limited sample size. --Darkcodelagsniper (talk) 23:56, 1 December 2013 (UTC)

Got a boatload of spading recently thanks to phyllis dietrichson (#3053164), and based on the data, the summon rate for a rare is closer to 2%, with no diminishing returns. This is from ~1700 summons per day thanks to being level 256.

Comparing a single day's total compared to the first 200 summoned also shows no evidence of diminishing returns:

Total for day: (28/1450)*100=1.93%
First 200 for day: (5/200)*100=2.5%
