Talk:Talisman o' Namsilat
Now wait a second here. Shouldn't that reference about the Neverending story be a reference to the book?--Yellow birdy 08:50, 8 July 2007 (CDT)
I just realised something. I'm playing my husband's character's turns for him, and I realised he has two talisman o' nams in his inventory. It's the character's initial run, and the account was created 2 Dec 2007. I thought only two snakehead charrrms would drop, and after that no more... so how did he get two? A snake eating its own tail
A snake eating its own tail (an infinite system) is called an ouroboros. Looking at the wikipedia page, the amulet Atreyu wears is actually a combination of a ouroboros and the yin-yang symbol. Don't know if anything will come of this, but I figured I'd add my two cents. --Irregular 19:22, 4 May 2008 (CDT)
- no? first of all an oroboros is a single snake eating its own tail while the orrin(and the talisman o'nam) is composed of 2 snakes biting eachothers tails. the orrin also lets you pass into the land of Fantasia(talisman o'nam gives access to the palindome) the reffrence is obviously of The neverending Story. --Krater 17:44, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
Plural
I'm not entirely sure if the new plural is correct, can someone verify it? It's very likely that "Talismen o' Namsilat" is correct, but just in case. Poolala (talk) 22:59, 2 April 2015 (UTC)
