Sneaky Pete Can't Buy Papers!

Surprising Fist
Currently doing a Way of the Surprising Fist run, and I'm not even getting the option to buy anything. I'm only getting the intro text (in a weird font, and without the shopkeeper graphic) and the 'Wait a minute' button.
