Seems like the first option is 1 skeleton per 10% item drop. --JohnAnon 05:32, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
- Hmmm, I'm seeing a slightly better rate than I would have expected, ~1 skeleton per 9% item drop. --Itsatrap 08:41, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
- Going through all of my effects I'm seeing +380% item drops, and I'm only killing 38-39 skeletons per pull, so I'm not sure where you're getting your 1:9 ratio. FFiXMaster 16:17, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
- I don't know either--I redid the calculation this morning and it's 10%; I blame faulty math while tired. --Itsatrap 16:45, 12 May 2011 (UTC)

Looks like the number of skeletons killed in option 1 based off +item drop is indeed 1 per +10% item drop, excluding familiar bonus. Some variation enters due to +item drop not divisible by 10. +40% always gives 4, for example, whereas +65% gives 6 or 7. MP cost for the option also seems to be related to item drop, was losing 1 or 8 MP at +40%, but 15 or 23 MP at +146% item (max of 661 MP).--Darzil 11:17, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
Insufficient HP
The message for not having enough HP to encounter The Bonewall is:
- You're not in good enough shape to deal with a threat this large. Go get some rest, or put on some band-aids or something.
Looks as if the cutoff is below 20% or so. --Baltar 06:55, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
I was losing 21% mana not hp, pastamancer, level 17, pulling key bones --Mskc 12:52, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
No change in message +70 Skeletons
message doesn't change with 70+ skeletons
You fly up to a load-bearing skeleton and say, "Mr. Skeleton, TEAR DOWN THIS WALL!" He doesn't respond, so you grab both of his femurs, tibiae, and fibulae and yoink them out of the structure. The ensuing chain reaction leads to maximum skeletal carnage (this Sunday, Sunday, SUNDAY!). You defeated 72 skeletons --Mskc 12:50, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
