Talk:The Don's Crimbo Compound
260,897 Meat Raised -> 3,000 Crimbux. Who started this rumor about 5,000? --Darkwolf 05:53, 16 December 2009 (UTC)

You get a different message if you didn't participate in the fundraising effort. I'll update the page to reflect this. --Khalrin 07:29, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
180,369 Meat -> 3,000 Crimbux. --Hrag 07:43, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
238,548 -> 3000 --Muhandes 07:59, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
The message I received differs from that posted in the wiki. My first sentence reads: "I see you were most efficient in your fundraising endeavors." instead of the posted "I see you were somewhat skilled in your fundraising endeavors." Likely, the descriptor changes depending on your performance. Also: 235,356 Meat Raised -> 3,000 Crimbux. --Astron Townsaver 8:00, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
211,263 -> 3000 and "most efficient" message from the Don, instead of "somewhat skilled" --Cheddarbeer 08:14, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
148,390 -> 3000 Crimbux, meaning the switch between 2k and 3k Crimbux is between 148,390 and 128,626 meat collected. Also: 91,400 -> 2000 Crimbux and the message was "I see you were slightly out of your depth in your fundraising endeavors." Winterbay 08:55, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
143,157 -> 3,000 Crimbux, so it looks like I just made the cut. Missed the message, though. --Phelyan 10:52, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
81,854 -> 2,000 Crimbux. --LordHorst 20:42, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
170,563 -> 3,000 Crimbux. --Kay Dekker 21:09, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
And now for something completely different: (about the favor/quest) When you dispose of all the elves without asking about the favor, you still get the reward afterwards. --RikAstley 11:02, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
I don't know how, where or when you were supposed to "raise" this meat, but I don't believe I did anything of the sort (haven't logged on in quite some time), but I still managed to get 2,000 Crimbux. Go figure. (I also didn't bother to remember what my message said.) --jupider 02:39, 23 December 2009 (UTC)
Guess of amounts
A small guess on my part for how much meat you need for the different awards. So far there appears to be multiples of 1000 Crimbux (2 and 3 respectively). My guess is:
- 0 meat = 0 Crimbux
- 1-70000 meat = 1k Crimbux
- 70001-140000 meat = 2k Crimbux
- 140001- meat = 3k Crimbux
I.e. 1k for each started 70k and a max of 3k (getting above 210000 obviously didn't give anything extra), this from the data given above. Winterbay 11:45, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
I got somewhat skilled and 3000 crimbux with 140,093 Meat. slightly out of my depth and 2000 crimbux with 136,885 Meat. Discordance 14:08, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
December 16
Another day, another favor. Any ideas how to handle this on the page?
"It would appear that the elven resistance is continuing to make trouble. The doll-head-attachment machine -- which is fearsomely complex for such a simple operation, but never mind that -- keeps breaking down. Gears and girders simply fall from the machine, almost as if their supports had been severed. Find the elf responsible, and I will reward you."
--Khalrin 04:09, 16 December 2009 (UTC)
- I did this one already, and it gave the same response as yesterday. odd. Starguy 05:53, 16 December 2009 (UTC)
fixed the mistake that someone wrote; "monkey-wrenching nuisance" into "bolt-butting nuisance". the former wasn't intended, was it?
Combat adventures
Is this redundant, what with the other page devoted to post-elf rebellion joining? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Leaper (talk • contribs)
- I say yes. The outside looks the same, but the adventure name is different. I'm going to replace the list with a link to the name as it actually appears. Also, sign your comments. --Lordebon 16:02, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
