Talk:The Fudge Wizard

From A KoL Wiki

I could NOT beat him for love or money, tried everything I could think of to buff up and help my stats. Level 12 DB using Seeger's Banjo. I read this page, put on a tourmalime tourniquet as someone suggested, and killed both the Abominable Fudge Monster and the Fudge Wizard in 2 hits each after a Disco Face Stab. --SaucyFlirt 18:44, 27 December 2011 (CET)

Is this a one time adventure? Nadando 05:03, 14 December 2011 (CET)

  • I encountered him only once during about 150 adventures, so yes, pretty sure it's one-time. --Beliar Lightbearer 06:48, 14 December 2011 (CET)

The sugar / meat thing is reminding me of the webcomic Curvy. It's a cool but very NSFW black and white weekly with travel many universes, and has a love story between a made of meat woman and a made of sugar princess. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 08:12, 14 December 2011 (CET)

I lost to him first time then he reoccured about 45 adv later so he is probably conditional on not having the wand. Yvain 12:35, 14 December 2011 (CET)

  • With great Moxie, you suckersmack him for 435 damage. (502 buffed, 227 unbuffed moxie) One hit kill. --Aenye Deithven
    • You summon a geyser of hot Tomato Sauce, which erupts beneath your opponent, dealing 491 damage. <snip>

He turns a blob of fudge into a sheep, then realizes he should have tried for something a little more menacing. Not a one-hit kill.--Fluxxdog 21:24, 14 December 2011 (CET)

aint no 130 attack. at my 163 mox he's mauling me for 180 per turn. (no tourniquet) (suspect possibility of scaling on fudgecules in inventory on hunch?) --Davydd 00:45, 15 December 2011 (CET)

  • He is totally devastating to my HCO character. Level 12 TT with few skills, I'm buffed to 161 mus, no +ML or tourniquet, and one-hitting everything else on the mountain. Then I meet the wizard. If he gets the jump, I get hit for 380+ HP and I'm out. If I get the jump I've been able to knock him around for only 300 to 400 damage before he manages to attack and I'm out. I've closeted all my fudgecules and that hasn't helped. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 22:58, 15 December 2011 (CET)

Stats

I assume the attack/defense/etc on this page are for a normal encounter, and if someone has the tourmalime tourniquet equipped he scales? This could explain some of the inconsistencies above. --timrem 00:50, 15 December 2011 (CET)

I don't have the tourniquet equipped, and he's doing 90-100 damage to me with moxie 435, then over 150 when I lost Having a Ball and dropped to 248. --Cmlobue 03:08, 15 December 2011 (CET)

Same here; with no tourniquet, 126 Moxie and not much damage reduction/absorption, he was doing over 300 damage per hit. Probably close to 500 attack. I had about 1000 fudgecules; maybe the attack is half your total fudgecules? --Guyy 04:43, 15 December 2011 (CET)

Short on details, but I just got smacked at about 192 (162) Mox, for 75 damage, twice. After losing initiative and getting hit (75 damage), I entangled him, then failed to hit (no fumble) with ~189 (167) Mus, then hit him for 112 with Fearful Fettucine, then got hit for another 75 damage. Healed up, and got smacked again. Hit him for 124 and 112, he hit me 70 and 72 (plus ~15 total incidental saucesphere damage). Clueless here, as I think I one-hit him with my other character and didn't even have time to notice what I was doing, and that character's not much more powerful than this one that's getting destroyed (Lv18 S vs Lv15 P). (later) Okay, went a bit more carefully this time. He still got in one 81-point hit, but I kept him stunned and killed with 80 (physical) + 48 (physical) + (3+5+5 (Saucespheres)) + 105 (stench) + delevel (20) + 126 (spooky) + 115 (spooky) = 487 total damage. Mus 186 (168), Mox 200 (162). Statgain: 25/37/21=83. Through all this: No candy (or fudge?) equipment, only 85 fudgecules in inventory and no fudge-crafted items, one fudgepuck and one superheated in inv, no fudge effects active, item familiar (syncopated turtle) then 35lb Potato for the kill. Hope this helps the next guy, as I won't be seeing him again! --MadKingSoupII 03:11, 17 December 2011 (CET)

  • I call bullshit, either on your part or on part of the devs. I hit him with 550 Spooky, and it took another 550 before he died. --Megamaw 22:15, 18 December 2011 (CET)

I finally beat the fudge wizard after being defeated at least once a day for the past week or so. The only difference in technique was wearing the tourmalime tourniquet. He died in one hit of Weapon of the Pastamancer. I got similar results from the fudge wasps and abominable fudgeman, so I think it scales monsters down. Doesn't apply to Big Candy, though. --qarylla 9:36, 25 December 2011 (CET)
