Talk:The Quest for the Legendary Beat
safe to assume at least 10 people have beaten this by now?--Blood panther 05:57, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
I'm gonna guess yes, I got the beat and used it and got nothing except the buff it gives. --Bluethunder 06:23, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
It seems you get the meteorite with any monster you fight after getting the hurricane effect and having the olive in the tube. At least I got it by fighting the coalition of yetis, snowmen, and goats. Winterbay 09:07, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
- no, you only get it from coalition of yetis, snowmen, and goats because meteorite is inside the mountain --Hrag 09:55, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
I noticed something, though. I had no other stat buffs/debuffs (having a ball wasn't in effect), other than hurricane force, broken dancing, and literally insane active. But...instead of the 50% that hurricane force gives, while the other two were in effect, I had -75% stats for some reason...maybe one of the two gives a -25% stat debuff? Or maybe it's Smooth Legs that gives the debuff... --Jimfromtx 03:33, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
squirmy violent party snack
Despite being required to complete the quest, the squirmy violent party snack is inedible by those following the Boozetafarian path.
- I'm going to assume that it won't be completable by people in oxy, boozetafarian and teet paths which is as it should be since it has no effect what so ever on your possibility to ascend. Winterbay 11:45, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
- break prism
- complete quest
- er, that's it. --Evilkolbot 11:51, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
Use the razor enough times to last all week. I blew through 60 adventures on the first attempt and didn't get a can-you-dig-it out of five scabie fights even with +item equipment. --Zeropointburn 22:22, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
Quest order
It is possible to defeat the Wackan and aquire the razor prior to any of the consumables. I know because I got the razor, then gave up due to fullness. The only other drop I had at this point was a jawbreaker, but no palate. I returned to the quest several days later, and following the wiki spent 100 turns searching for the razor that I already had. I'm not sure what would be the best way to indicate this in the walkthrough.--RogerMexico 11:35, 10 April 2010 (UTC)
