Scaling?
Do the monsters here scale? +ML seems to have no effect.--Ryo_Sangnoir 10:39, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
Yes, these monsters scale, according to several posts in the forums. Note the poster's numbers compared to what has been put up as I write this post (150 HP and ML 200, compared to the poster's HP>20). I don't have the wherewithal to edit all those monsters' files, but it should be done. They scale, possibly to a cap, and probably to your stats + X because just about everyone reports getting hit regularly unless there are at a very high level. --Jeffbee 12:38, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
- The 150HP, ML 200 stuff is what I've put up, and appears to be the maximum possible. So, yes, there's a cap. It's that.--Ryo_Sangnoir 12:53, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
On a lower level character of mine, MD is 99 and ML 104, compared to 94(91), 150(126), and 101(98) fixed stats.--Foggy 13:22, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
- Muscle went up one, so did MD. Removed muscle buffing item, and it went down by 3. MD=Buffed Muscle+5, perhaps?--Foggy 13:25, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
what's the most number of adventures anyone has done so far? the message you get when you beat the Underworld Tree suggests we may be able to kill them all. Hedonia 04:59, 28 October 2009 (UTC)hedonia
- A couple of hundred, at least, and all the encounters keep coming, except for the one-off. So no, I don't think that there is a finite number of trees. --Kay Dekker 17:47, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
This is an Arrborday event, so the reward could possibly have something to do with the number of trees defeated. --Magoo 04:57, 30 October 2009 (UTC)--Magoo 04:57, 30 October 2009 (UTC) Actually its not. The Wiki clearly said its a Halloween Event
Item drops
I have the funny feeling, that Item Drops decrease over time. Can anyone confirm that? I got several items on the first few fights, and now, after 15 fights, I hardly get anything even if I push item drops higher than before. Obeliks 10:58, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
- That is hardly a meaningful sample size. Also, from doing 100 advs straight, I got no such feeling. Not at all. --DerMagus 11:01, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
- It was the exact opposite for me. Nothing for the first 15-20 turns, then it took about 30 turns to get the 21 spooky barks. -- sulfur 12:31, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
- Same here, but mine seems fluctuating, sometimes great items and sometimes pure zero though my +item isnt changing. Perhaps its all about RNG in here --Bistmuth 17:16, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
Main Page
So, can we get some mention of this on the main wiki page? I mean, it's usually not this late when they update whether there's a holiday or special event...--Lukarnis 18:56, 27 October 2009 (UTC)
Turtles
Just poking in to say that there don't appear to be any turtles here. At all. Which is slightly odd. (I mean, not even the generic low-mid-high level ones) --Ephesos 17:27, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
- OK, I'll bite: why would you expect turtles of any kind in the Shivering Timbers? --Kay Dekker 01:15, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
- I think he means when using turtle pheromones. --Itsatrap 06:41, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
