Talk:The Spooky Fright Factory

From A KoL Wiki

Don't know how to format the text, so will just put what I have discovered here for someone else to format And there stats seem so scale to your current stats. (Minimizing Moxie reduceds damage taken, but reduces stat gains)

toy-making creature from the Gray Lagoon: drops: evil googly eye, spooky stuffing

added some drops and cookie-baking thing --jaundice 01:44, 4 December 2006 (CST)

I'm pretty sure any one of them can drop the spooky frank. The bow-making mummy dropped mine. --RobotMachine 00:41, 4 December 2006 (CST)

Bow Making Mummy drops the spooky frank. Just got mine from him. Needs to be updated. Cheers. --Remnant 03:59, 4 December 2006 (CST)

  • And I got mine from the Gift-wrapping vampire. --Nea 04:15, 4 December 2006 (CST)

I have the impression all monsters can drop all spooky assembling items, just like the elves from last crimbo? --Nappa 04:11, 4 December 2006 (CST)

  • I'm pretty sure you're right, Nappa. --Nea 04:20, 4 December 2006 (CST)
    • Just confirmed this for all- except the spooky franks ofcourse --Nappa 04:37, 4 December 2006 (CST)

Image Hosting

For the record, it would probably be a good idea to be uploading the images to the wiki rather than using those on the KoL servers. That's just bad form. I would suggest that whoever's trying to link to the images on the official server familiarize themselves with the upload file function, also found on the left side of the screen. --Southwest 00:46, 4 December 2006 (CST)

Strangely, none of the monsters seem to have spooky resistance, and only the reindeer can cause it SOMETIMES. Think this is worth a note? --Akatosh 11:37, 4 December 2006 (CST)

I recieved spooky damage from the Cookie-baking thing and the zombie, as well. They probably all deal it occasionally. --LazloFruvous 00:21, 6 December 2006 (CST)

On a completely random note, the actual name for this area is "The Crimboween Spooky Fright Factory", not "The Spooky Fright Factory" --Deetviper 17:49, 4 December 2006 (CST)

Is it just me, or do ALL of this creatures minus the ancient Thing god whatever act as references to "The Nightmare before Halloween?" They all do in some way, and the toys that are made are also references. --Venturboy 21:31, 4 December 2006 (CST)

Some adventure data. This is assuming that each item drops from each monster in this zone with equal probability. In two days, I've had:

day 1, 229 adv (+181.5% items) -- 71 eyes (31.0%) -- 77 felt (33.6%) -- 71 string (31.0%) -- 60 stuffing (26.2%) -- 62 wheel (27.1%) -- 67 block (29.3%) --

day 2, 230 adv (+221.5% items) -- 60 eyes (26.1%) -- 74 felt (32.2%) -- 68 string (29.6%) -- 73 stuffing (31.7%) -- 67 wheel (29.1%) -- 84 block (36.5%) --

Adjusted for my +item levels, they range between 8% and 12%. I'll post tomorrow's totals if there's not another area to experiment with. --vonschiller 6:13am EST, 12/5/06

Glitches/Other interesting stuff

I don't know why, but I only take like 10 damage from each of the monsters here. And I'm a level 12 Pastamancer. This is not normal, is it? --Banjo2E 14:50, 6 December 2006 (CST)
