Item drops here include:
- Disintegrating Spiky Collar - This is a cute li'l spiky collar for you to make your familars look all totally badass, in a completely adorable way. In certain subcultures, it's the height of fashion. In other subcultures, it's pretty pervy and weird. Don't be all pervy and weird with your familiars, please. Type: usable. Selling Price: 70 Meat.--Art 01:21, 2 June 2007 (CDT)
- Somebody in the Pleasure Dome dropped honey-dew. I think it was Kubla Khan, but I'm not 100% sure. Item description: This is a thick slice of one of the sweet, refreshing melons grown in the lush hothouse gardens of the Stately Pleasure Dome. Yes, unlike the Palindome, which has no lemon, no melon, the Pleasure Dome has plenty of indigenous fruits. --Andemon 01:38, 2 June 2007 (CDT)
- It's the Angry Poet that drops honey-dew. "This poet is generally good-natured, what with all the honey-dew he eats and milk of Paradise he drinks (which is like Milk of Magnesia, only less chalky). However, your approach woke him up from a totally killer dream he was having, and now he's coming at you all flashing eyes and floating hair, ready to stab you with a quill." --Forrozeiro 20:38, 2 June 2007 (CDT)
- S.T.L.T. - Sandwich dropped at Crow's Nest when under the effect of "No Vertigo" (See Worm Wood discussion for how to get it). Description: This is a tasty sandwich made of a Slimy Thing, some Lettuce, and a slice of Tomato. It's considered a luxury, or at least a necessity, on those ships who sail the weird waters of the sunless sea. With a little salt, though, slimy things are actually pretty tasty, and they're high in fiber. Selling price: 100 meat --Ralph The Wonder Llama 01:19, 2 June 2007 (CDT)
Adventure Down By The Riverside has three options: 1. Swim laps in the pool 2. Wade in the Alph and 3. Play some volleyball.
Selevting 1. gave me 63 Fortitude. I was on a lvl 8 HC SC with 61 unbuffed muscle at the time. for what it's worth, the gain was in line with the gain in the haunted library in terms of stats as i had just done the haunted library yoga adventure...
The Ancient Mariner encounter drops Mariner's Friend cough drops - obviously a fisherman's friend reference. The description is "This is a handful of the strongest cough drops known to man, the Mariner's Friend. The ad copy says it "stoppeth one of three coughing fits, with consistent use." What it doesn't say is that eating one is like having your sinuses cleaned with a roto-rooter made out of menthol." It's useable with a selling price of 35 meat. Using them gave me 12 strongness.

--- 2. Wade in the Alph: I Wanna Know, Can You Tell Me?
You take yourself to the river, and drop yourself in the water. As you start to wash yourself down, you look into the water and see strange ripples of light undulating below the surface. Ethereal, effervescent green and blue lights swirl around you, bathing you in otherworldly radiance. It's really cool.
The swirling light show breaks from the surface of the water, circling briefly around your head, then hovering a few feet in front of your face. A face appears in the middle of the light -- an inhuman face, with its orange fur, warts, and beady little eyes, but a kind face, nonetheless. You realize it must be the god for whom the river is named.
"Adventurer," he says, in a golden, eardrum-caressing baritone, "I have a quest for you. It is a most sacred quest. Look deep into my eyes and it shall be made known to you."
The god's face gets larger as you stare at the eyes, until you feel like you've been swallowed by his gaze. Then, abruptly, the feeling vanishes. "So, er, what's the quest?" you say.
"Oh, I was just kidding around," the god says, his voice considerably less mellifluous. "I just wanted to imbue you with some of my essence, and when I say 'hey baby, let me imbue you with some of my essence,' people tend to run away." He chuckles, pleased with himself. "my essence...ha! I kill me!" and with that, he vanishes.
Well, at least splashing around in a sacred river revitalizes you a little. You gain 84 Mana Points. You acquire an effect: Spirit of Alph (duration: 5 Adventures)--Filmore 09:41, 2 June 2007 (CDT)
Spirit of Alph The ancient god Alph, for whom the sacred river Alph is named, has done some kind of weird mind-meld with you. In addition to making you feel vaguely dirty, you have an odd urge to grab a knife and fork and start chasing the family cat. That's what you get for talking to strange gods -- didn't your mother ever tell you about stranger deity dangereity?--Filmore 09:45, 2 June 2007 (CDT)
Cut & Paste Error?
Kubla Khan has honey-dew and White Xanadu as drops - thats the same as the angry poet - was this a cut & paste error? --Grimdel 03:45, 3 June 2007 (PST)
Muse = normally occuring combat?
Yes, I've encountered the roller-skating muse as a normal combat. In fact, I had seen her a couple times before I ever got the non-combat that she's in.--Terion 13:41, 3 June 2007 (CDT)
