Talk:The Thatch-Roofed Casino
From A KoL Wiki
- I don't see anything else that needs improving here, like the hermit says. --McDutchy 20:52, 19 Jul 2005 (Central Daylight Time)
- September 9, 2005: I still see the old names (Pirate Treasure, Fruit Insanity!!!) on the slot machines when I visit the Casino. I have no reason to believe that Fryguy9 made up these new names or images just to confuse us, so what happened? Do you get different names for these slots based on Feast of Boris? Do you get different names based on some effect? Do these different names have any effects on the games? --Cyferpunk 10:21 am, 09 Sep 2005 (Eastern Daylight Time)
- Your browser cache still has the old file. You can either clear your browser cache, press Shift-F5 on that page, or press Ctrl-<click on Refesh button>. For the rest of the questions, Jick briefly mentioned on his radio show that Xenophobe changed the names to make them consistent, so I don't think there are any changes in effects, and it definitely has nothing to do with the Feast of Boris. --Fryguy9 10:01, 9 Sep 2005 (Central Daylight Time)
- Thanks, Fryguy9. I had refreshed the page, but I hadn't Ctrl-Refreshed the page. After I did that, I got the new names. --Cyferpunk, 12:12 pm, 9 Sep 2005 (Eastern Daylight Time)
Revamp
I just revamped this page so it actually looks like a location page now. I hope you all like it. --Someone Else 11:16, 13 July 2006 (CDT)
Now it is called "The Thatch-Roofed Casino" someone can change the name of the page? --Kaiou 23:33, 24 July 2007 (CDT)
Maybe there is some meaning behind the name change. Everything else just matches the written name. Might not be of any importance, but you never know. --Adite 11:05, 21 April 2008 (CDT)
maybe it's me who is damaged by 4chan, but lemon party is pretty famous and horrible picture, and goat party? Could it be a reference to goat.cx? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Capitol (talk • contribs) on 21:57, 19 February 2009
- the lemon party reference is on the page concerned. the goat party page doesn't reference goatse.cx except for context and the word goat: not enough. --Evilkolbot 23:15, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
