Talk:The Three Amigos
I'm almost certain it would require holding a certain 3 things, which this person just happens to have. Why no one else would have tried this before now, I don't know. --Jonzay 00:37, 4 June 2006 (CDT)
- It's been tried, it's not that easy of a trophy to get if you've followed the thread. --UglyPanda
I would have to disagree, I think it requires donating a certain amount to all three statues of the pictured "saints"...has anyone tried donating 1 million to each statue?--Kiltan 01:20, 4 June 2006 (CDT)
1 million to each statues in The Hall of the Legends of the Times of Old ? That's not only expensive, but troublesome. You have a day limit; but does it remind your donations ? Why not something "simple", like equipping the 3 tiny plastic deities ? --Fernando Bono 22:04, 4 June 2006 (CDT)
To follow up on most of these ideas, check this forum thread for the latest news or to see what's already been tried. Now, there's no excuse for looking at old ideas.

To summarize the thread, it's pretty clearly donating a certain amount to the hall, cumulatively over multiple ascensions (though ascending doesn't appear to be required.) The amount is yet to be determined; my guess is 1 million. Stannius 15:14, 7 June 2006 (CDT)
Is it just me or has almost everyone with the trophy acquired it in HC? thia may be false, but it does show it is attainable in HC. also, some people with this trophy from HC don't have golden meat stack, so I doubt the 1 million thing.--Kiltan 00:01, 9 June 2006 (CDT)
- The first person to get this trophy has never done a hardcore ascension. --UglyPanda
Yes, but it proves that it is possible in hardcore, and probably does not take 1 million meat.
Jick just said on his radio show that someone could get it on their first day without ever taking a turn, so it's probably not one million meat. --Shima 01:10, 9 June 2006 (CDT)
- No, Jick said on the radio show that someone could get the so-called "insta-trophy" on their first day without ever taking a turn, in order to say that this trophy is not the insta-trophy (which someone, for some reason, had asked). Phlip 01:43, 9 June 2006 (CDT)
- That was me! He said you needed to donate meat, I didn't think asking that would get him to say how you get the trophy though. although, he didn't really say how much meat, just "a whole lot"--Phred 21:54, 9 June 2006 (CDT)
In the movie, El Guapo sends them a telegram that tells them to go put on a show for 100,000 pesos, so maybe 100,000 meat each? --IcLubYou 16:04, 9 June 2006 (CDT)
- It is definitely much more than 100,000 meat. Many people have donated much more than 100,000 meat to each of the statues. --UglyPanda
- Well that may be, but has anyone donated 100,000 meat to each within a certain amount of time? say, the very minimum amount of time in which it is possible to do so?--Stik guy 13:19, 10 June 2006 (CDT)
- Jick said on the show that this was the trophy that you could get as soon as you started to play, or is this just me interpreting it the wrong way? Was that him saying that this WASN'T the "insta-trophy" If it being so, then you wouldn't have access to the keys to the Hall, meaning that you can't donate. And donating 100 000 Meat the very first thing you do is kind of hard.. But, if we take into account that you have infinite Meat and the three Keys when you start, have anyone here donated 100 000 meat to each of the statues without spending any adventures in between?? I think it has been tested before, in the donating-X-amount-to-each statue testing, but why it haven't been found before is probably that you spend 10 000 or 20 000 meat each time and then on a single Saint, not 100 000 each at the same time.. I'm a bit short on Meat at the moment or I would have tried it. What's against this theory is the limit on how much you can donate at your first level. --Ferdawoon 17:30, 10 June 2006 (CDT)
- I say this isn't the insta-trophy. The Laura Palmer trophy clearly doesn't require any turns. --ChuckEye 00:21, 11 June 2006 (CDT)

I think it is donating 100,000 meat to all of them, but since the limit for a level 1 person is 10,000(I think) It would probably be over one rollover.
- The limit is 10000 per level per day, so to donate 100000 to each statue in a day would take a level 30 character. Once I get a level 30+ multi with 300000 meat to spare, I can test this, but I doubt it's the way to get it. It might, however, be donating that amount over the course of a hardcore ascension or something like that.--Yiab 00:32, 11 June 2006 (CDT)
- And, reading things over more, I find out that it's already been stated that hardcore is not required. Perhaps it has something to do with ronin...--Yiab 00:33, 11 June 2006 (CDT)
Is it possible that you have to find the 3 saint TPs?--Kiltan 01:04, 11 June 2006 (CDT)
How exactly has that rumor been disproven? --sl1me 19:29, 11 June 2006 (CDT)
If you read the forum thread, it said that a 100,000 donation does not get the trophy, which was the "rumor" posted.--Kiltan 19:37, 11 June 2006 (CDT)
- No, the posting said a million meat. Has that been disproven? That aforementioned thread doesn't say that it has... --ChuckEye 22:34, 11 June 2006 (CDT)
- The post did indeed say a million. Check the history. --sl1me 23:21, 11 June 2006 (CDT)
Fine, but rumors still belong in disscussion.
