Prismatic Damage Required
I didn't pass with 5 prismatic damage, but passed with 18 --YorickTheSecond 14:15, 5 January 2013 (CET)
6 prismatic was not enough to pass, 9 prismatic was. TBD: 7 and 8. (astral shirt, bejeweled cufflinks, tiny plastic fax machine, tiny plastic Crimbomination allow fine-tuning) Also need to examine the number of different damage types required, since a user below says 275 damage of two types was enough.--Ailuro Dragon (talk) 18:04, 26 February 2014 (UTC)
100 prismatic damage definitely gives the Flickering Pixel. --Andyzero 18:10, 5 January 2013 (CET)
If we're reporting prismatic, can we say if it is each element or all the elements combined — Cool12309 (talk) 18:21, 5 January 2013 (CET)
100 each element. Note; getting the Flickering Pixel means you still have to do the test again; however the next time there isn't an option for the Flickering Pixel. --Andyzero 18:30, 5 January 2013 (CET)
255 elemental damage (total) wasn't enough for the flickering pixel, but was enough to pass the test normally. It doesn't HAVE to be prismatic, as I had 0 cold damage when I passed; I suspect it's just total elemental damage. Breakdown of the 255 elemental damage was 15 hot, 0 cold, 100 stench, 40 spooky, 100 sleaze, in case it matters, which I doubt. --Xande 20:34, 6 January 2013 (CET)
As a note / reminder the ultracolor shirt gives prismatic damage based on the number of buffs you have. A very easy way to get +100 prismatic damage with it, a sticker sword and a few other equips. Murixbob 00:42, 12 January 2013 (CET)
Got the flickering pixel option with 91 hot, 96 spooky, 66 cold/stench/sleaze. Did not get it with 50 hot, 55 spooky, 25 cold, 125 stench, 165 sleaze (from a halibut and assorted other one-element equips). EiriasValar 07:41, 15 January 2013 (CET)
For Flickering Pixel: 38 of each element (63 spooky) is not sufficient. 50 of each element is not sufficient either. (+59hot) (+49cold) (+119stench) (+64spooky) (+119sleaze) is not good enough: total=410. Success: (+140hot) (+90cold) (+190stench) (+95spooky) (+115sleaze) for a total of 630. Skullrock 09:56, 17 January 2013 (CET)
I was successful with 63 hot, 238 cold, 78 stench, 68 spooky, 78 sleaze (525 total). --Sentrion 08:16, 18 January 2013 (CET)
- Forgot to mention, in case it's relevant -- this was my second time through the mystic's zone, after having used a pixel pill. --Sentrion 08:24, 18 January 2013 (CET)
I didn't get the pixel (first time through the zone) with (+116) (+51) (+101) (+138) (+101) for 507 total. Next attempt with (+151) (+61) (+111) (+148) (+111) for 582 total was successful. --Campboy 13:35, 20 January 2013 (CET)
The types of elemental damage do matter. I failed the normal test with just the fire hose (+200 cold). I suspect that you need to get a few of the tear removal messages to actually pass the test. --Therealtahu 01:03, 7 February 2013 (CET)
- A second test with (+0) (+200) (+0) (+0) (+75) allowed me to pass. --Therealtahu 01:10, 7 February 2013 (CET)
100 stench and sleaze did not get flickering. — Cool12309 (talk) 23:20, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- 200 cold, 55 sleaze did not — Cool12309 (talk) 23:30, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- 200 cold, 95 sleaze fail. Unless thereal was not talking about 200 cold and 75 sleaze, then something weird is happening. — Cool12309 (talk) 23:34, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
Just to add my data point, I got the flickering pixel with 108 hot, 97 cold, 187 stench, 167 spooky, and 112 sleaze damage--for a total of 671 bonus elemental damage. --Southwest (talk) 06:53, 16 April 2013 (UTC)
Failed the pixel test at 525 elemental damage (52 stench, 37 hot, 272 cold, 82 sleaze, 82 spooky). Still failed it after adding +50 hot. Finally got it after pumping every element above 100 (hit message (+102) (+337) (+192) (+172) (+102)). --Kyrbis (talk) 12:42, 20 April 2013 (UTC)

Looks like it's a minimum of 60 prismatic damage. --TechSmurf (talk) 20:15, 20 April 2013 (UTC)
- Um, that last part. I'm assuming you meant 60 sleaze, or the total is off. — Cool12309 (talk) 21:08, 20 April 2013 (UTC)
- Passed with 71 prismatic damage, 60 as a minimum looks acceptable User:imbw267
