Talk:The eXtreme Slope
I'm going to change the name specified in the Category tag to "Extreme" in order to avoid having a "e" category, because that really sucks. -Snickles 12:45, 18 May 2005 (Central Daylight Time)
- Actually, that turned out well. -Snickles 12:46, 18 May 2005 (Central Daylight Time)
I'm removing the rewrite from this page. It asked for the meat drop from the hippy, and as any fule kno, hippies are vegetarian and don't drop meat. --Hubert rawlinson 05:35, 22 Jun 2005 (Central Daylight Time)
- Looks good to me. --jin 11:00, 22 Jun 2005 (Central Daylight Time)
Here's something. Today, all the multiple-choice adventures dropped 200 instead of the usual 75 meat when I chose the last choice. Any explanation why? Perhaps a permanent change? --Cwitz 22:21, 26 May 2006 (CDT)
I confirm 200, and I'm glad, because I always thought it was stupid that you could autosell any equipment choice for more meat than you got from the "gimme meat" selection. --Hellion 23:30, 26 May 2006 (CDT)
There's a new non-combat adventure, "Gn8than, the Sk8 Gnome," if you've been given the quest from the Elder Gnome in the Gnomish Gnomads Camp. The image is the same as the Sk8 Gnome, and the text is:
I dogn't care what they told you, I never borrowed agnybody's comic books.
What, these comic books right here? These are... my comic books. I bought them myself. Yeah, so they're exactly the same titles as the ognes that Chomsky's missing -- so what?
Yeah, so the ignside cover of each issue says PROPERTY OF CHOMSKY in big, block letters. I always put that ogn my comic books. The ognes that I bought, and that I own, and that don't belong to Chomsky. It's a gnome thing, you wouldn't understand it.
Agnyway, these comic books are mine and I'm not just goigng to give them to you, tall one. Tell you what, though -- if you brigng me some fingerless gloves, like the kind hobos wear, I'll give you these comic books. My comic books that I bought myself. Those gloves will be awesome for my sk8ing, because I want to protect my palms but I hate my figngers and don't care if they get scraped up.
Having never added an entire adventure to the Wiki before, I wasn't sure how to proceed without doing something regrettable. --Cobwebs 21:10, 10 October 2007 (CDT)
I just spent 600 adventures on the extreme slope with 0% and +15% combat (yes, this is accounting for the ballroom song). It appears the combat rate is 60%. Also, this value is in mafia.
300 adventures with 0% combat {128 non-combats (42%),172 combats (57%)}
300 adventures with +15% combat {77 non-combats (25%),223 combats (75%)}

Non-combats
I completed the new McLargeHuge quest, then put on my Extreme cold-weather gear, fired up smooth movements and sonata, adventured at the Slope, and got 10 combats in a row. Took off the extreme cold-weather gear, immediately got Duffel on the Double and Yeti Nother Hippy. So, I'm theorizing that the non-quest non-combats now only occur when not in the extreme cold weather outfit. Anyone care to agree or disagree? --Johnny Treehugger 20:46, 30 July 2012 (CEST)
A clannie pointed out the combat rate had not been updated since the revamp. Spading indicates 95% combat rate when not in the cold-weather gear. The game will force one of the 4 outfit noncombats after 7 combats without a noncomabat. At +0% combat modifier, I encountered some noncombats before going 7 combats in a row. However, at +5% combat, in 393 adventures I never encountered a noncombat before seeing 7 combats. Additional spading necessary to determine the combat rate for the extreme snowboarding adventures when you are in the cold-weather gear. --Ungavva (talk) 15:31, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
Confirmation: I added the new non-com to Duffel on the Double and checked that retired adventures are correct.--Eph (talk) 20:20, 13 July 2013 (UTC)
Lucky Pill to Lucky-ish Pill
Since the changes to the clover mechanics, it seems that the Look into the Side Pocket Choice of Duffel on the Double provides a Lucky-ish Pill, which seems to be only a renamed Lucky Pill; consuming the pill in a non-Bad Moon run resulted in the typical disassembled clover. --Hidden Knife (talk) 19:15, 15 January 2022 (UTC)
