Talk:Tin star
"...unless you're smart enough to wear a sheet of metal under your poncho."
Might that be a clue about Siesta Fiesta? I don't have any metallic (stainless steel?) pants, and no torso, and I already burned 110+ adventures, so I can't experiment. --Waveclaw 00:45, 5 May 2007 (CDT)
- More likely a reference to you being a giant target if you wear the star.--Toffile 00:47, 5 May 2007 (CDT)
If you go back to the same choice adventure, you take damage and don't get a second star. Sfwarlock 00:48, 5 May 2007 (CDT)
- Unless you stuff the tin star into your clan stash or send it to a multi - then you can get as many as you want. Same with any of the Cinco De Pete items. --sl1me 01:57, 5 May 2007 (CDT)
"Also, there is a warning dialog box before smashing it asking if you are sure as it may be a "valuable item"."
- I believe this is statement is common when attempting to pulverize an item that cannot be discarded, and is not a hint to the "value" of an item. Grimdel 04:33, 5 May 2007 (PDT)
- Can't do it any more anyway -- it's now untradable. --Baltar 14:10, 5 May 2007 (CDT)
I found a ten leaf clover with the tin star equipped. No other such items that do so were equipped at the time. Just saying. --WizardRahl 15:03, 5 May 2007 (CDT)
- You're not a Marmot by any chance are you? --Roger_B 16:17, 5 May 2007 (CDT)
Format of Page
I've never seen effects with links. These links should be moved to the bottom of the page, as "see also" links. I can't do it myself due to computer issues. --Antoids 00:05, 28 October 2007 (CDT)
Tin Star in the mall
Someone mentioned that this would be helpful, I currently have Tin Stars in my store for those that missed out, since you are no longer able to search for untradable items. ---Woodstock 21:47, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
