i just tried to zap one of my series 2 commons and it didn't work... could someone confirm if the new series is unzappable?--Xone01 15:04, 31 October 2007 (CDT)

I tried it as well. Nothing. Might be to make the NS one very, very hard to get (like it wouldn't be even with zapping?). Qaianna 16:49, 31 October 2007 (CDT)

•I just zapped a series 2 common successfully--Arms4490 00:10, 1 November 2007 (CDT)

•I also just zapped series 2 uncommon successfully: from a tiny plastic Beelzebozo to tiny plastic conservationist hippy. It looks like zaps stay within common and uncommon groups so far.--Arms4490 00:21, 1 November 2007 (CDT)

    • This is how the TP Series 1 worked, and so isn't terribly surprising. --Deusnoctum 03:11, 2 November 2007 (CDT)

•apparently, the zapping wasn't implemented until today, because I wasn't able to zap them yesterday, but it works today. KowboyTrav 07:31, 1 November 2007 (CDT)

Not Ultra Rare

How about we call the TPNS something other than "ultra rare"? Super rare perhaps? --Jef 00:19, 6 November 2007 (CST)

  • I vote for "Über-rare" - it expresses the fact that it's exceedingly rare, and it even begins with a "U" for good measure. --Quietust (t|c) 07:52, 6 November 2007 (CST)
  • Quietust is right, "super rare" does not match with the "(UR)" marking on the TPNS. If you have a problem with it being called an ultra rare, you're going to have to take it up with the game creators, not the wiki. --Crowther 10:29, 6 November 2007 (CST)
  • I like Quietust's suggestion. "Über-rare" fulfills all of the requirements (fits UR, doesn't use "ultra-rare", and suggests that it is indeed quite rare) without any issues.--MaskedLihc 15:58, 6 November 2007 (CST)
  • How is it not ultra rare? --Drok 10:04, 9th, July 2008
  • Might I suggest "Uncommonly Rare"? It seems to keep with the naming convention...--Bampersand 05:16, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

New Trophy by chance?

It would only make sense since this set has twice as many as the original. Does anyone know yet?

You'd probably have to get the NS though, which sucks. I'll keep trying. --Duff 16:05, 31 October 2007 (CDT)

Drop Rate?

Has anyone spaded out a specific drop % yet? Between my four multis, I've consumed roughly 400 or more of these and not gotten a single Rare. I've also heard reports of some people having difficulty with getting certain Uncommons over other Uncommons, but I think that's just RNG screwage. Now I'm wishing I'd kept track of what all I have gotten over time, just to add to the spading. --Brightbutt The Defenestrator 08:25, 9 December 2007 (CST)

  • my guess is that the rates are the same as the non-spooky ones. that is, approximately 1/10, 1/100, and 1/1000, with her naughtiness being found in 1/10000 eggs. being realistic, your best (and cheapest) bet for getting the rares is to sells the eggs and save up. --Evilkolbot 08:28, 9 December 2007 (CST)
    • Where did you get these figures from? Getting a tight confidence interval around an experimental figure of 1/1000 would require you to get over ten thousand drops, which would seem to mandate a substantial collective spading agreement; or a really rich person buying a tremendous number of dollhives/doll houses. I remember somewhere on one of these talk pages some people conjectured a drop rate of .33% for the series 2 rares from a few thousand drops. Taking this as a reliable source (perhaps questionable, but we'll go on a limb for a second), in order to get a 90% confidence interval of width .1% (which is really wide and liberal) we would have to get 35602 (random) series 2 drops. An initial guess of .1% would require 10814 for the same amount of confidence (and now that width is outright ridiculously large). --Flargen 20:51, 13 April 2008 (CDT)
  • What do you get the other .8999% of the time? These are some wierd rates here, and would make more sense if it was somewhere in the nighborhood of 9/10 for commons, 9/100 for uncommons, 9/1000 for rares, and the rest are ultra rare.
  • I have eaten about 600 eggs, my rare was at my 7th egg, 593 eggs later still no 2nd rare.--TehChozenOne 00:44, 18 January 2008 (CST)
  • I've eaten 1322 eggs to date, and figured I'd submit my findings so far.

UR: 0 (0%)
Rares: 3 (.2%)
Uncommons: 127 (9.6%)
Commons: 1192 (90.2%)
I have a breakdown per unique figurine, as well, if anyone cares.
--TehShrike 07:30, 15 April 2008 (CDT)

  • hey TehShrike, if you could get those numbers to me i would be grateful, im attempting to get a decent spading effort going, to get the actual percentages of each figurine... 1300+ entries would be awesome... to anybody else out there, who keeps track of which items have dropped from your spooky surprise eggs, or the dollhive, post the data if you can. --Drok 11:05 AM 6th, July 2008 (MST)
  • I'm Plowing through 15 eggs every day-the results are in Tiny Plastic Yarrh (#2018440)'s DC. Only gotten 1 rare after over 260 eaten.
