Talk:Tropical Crimbo pressie
Used description added. Also, it looks like you receive tropical wrapping paper along with 1-2 items of random good Crimbo tropical-ness. --MagiNinjA 22:26, 24 December 2006 (CST)
I'd also like to note that the text under the picture is misspelled "topical" instead of "tropical". I can't seem to edit that. --MagiNinjA 22:28, 24 December 2006 (CST)
Okay, on my account in which I saved Uncle Crimbo, I got wrapping paper, a paperweight, and a tiki necklace. On the account that I didn't save him, I only got paper and playing cards. So, I postulate that if you didn't save Crimbo, you only get the +1 stats per fight item, and not a secondary one (necklace, uke, whatever).--Barstool 22:28, 24 December 2006 (CST)
I see that as the case also. Also, the other item that ISN'T a +1 stats seems to be random. And that there are many different +1 stat items, but are all off-hands. --MagiNinjA 22:30, 24 December 2006 (CST)
Not sure where to put it, but I got a "deck of tropical cards" and a "lucky Crimbo tiki necklace". The deck gives +1 stats after each fight, whereas the necklace "Brings Good Luck!". Wearing the necklace, I just got a clover from a non-combat, and I'm Opossum, so I'm pretty sure that's the necklace at work.--Adbax 22:31, 24 December 2006 (CST)
The "Brings Good Luck!" is also intrinsic. --MagiNinjA 22:35, 24 December 2006 (CST)
We need a list of all the items that we can get from the pressie. Everyone putting items on the main pressie page is getting messy.
- Tiki lighter
- Crimbo ukulele
- tropical paperweight
- tropical wrapping paper
- deck of tropical cards
- lucky Crimbo tiki necklace
- bobble-hip hula elf doll
I'll extend this list to be a reference. --MagiNinjA 22:40, 24 December 2006 (CST)
Also, oddly enough, I wonder if it is luck that my main didn't get a deck of tropical cards but saved Uncle Crimbo, while another character of mine got the deck of tropical cards but didn't save Uncle Crimbo. Are everyone's characters like that? --MagiNinjA 22:52, 24 December 2006 (CST)
No, I have a multi that saved uncle Crimbo and got a deck of tropical cards and a lucky Crimbo tiki necklace. --Lihceyepie 23:01, 24 December 2006 (CST)
- It's not a this or this or this or(etc.) formula, it's a +1 stat item and one of the others (just one stat item for non-crimbo savers.).--Kiltan 23:11, 24 December 2006 (CST)
Both my guys completed the quest, and they got different bonus items, but both were given 2 items each (plus the wrapping paper to make 3 each) so it's not 1-2 random items, it's 2 if you complete it, 1 if not. I doubt that it's possible to get double of the same item, but there's no reason to discount it as of yet.--Jcj64200031 00:53, 25 December 2006 (CST)
Do you guys think the +1 stats item you get depends on your current class? Both of my characters were Accordion Thieves at the time I opened my pressies and got a tiki lighter as their first gift. (I'd think that'd be more of a Mys item and the cards a Mox item, but hey.)--Genbu Cosplayer 00:59, 25 December 2006 (CST)
- I doubt it. My SealClubber got a tiki lighter, but so did my Pastamancer. It's randomly one of the three stat boosters, and one of the three other items. --Lihceyepie 01:03, 25 December 2006 (CST)
Can this item be put into your display case? It can't be put into your mall store. --wexer9 04:36, 25 December 2006 (CST)
- Yes it can, currently (according to jickenwings) only 15 people have it in the display case so far.--Esko 01:14, 26 December 2006 (CST)
- Dang, I already opened mine. It would have been cool to put mine in there. --wexer9 10:47, 30 December 2006 (CST)
