Smithery

Twinkly wads (and nuggets) show up in the meatsmithing menu. So, uh, what can you smith out of it? There has to be something, otherwise it wouldn't be there.--Johnthescavenger 00:50, 14 August 2006 (CDT)

Stat Gain

Has anyone else come across the 4-10 stat gain update? I downed 15 twinklies today and averaged 9 in each stat, which is the expected value for the original 8-10 range. --Bagatelle 16:57, 27 April 2007 (CDT)

  • No. I expect that there was some user error or unknown effect causing the decrease. I just used a few and they all provided between 8-10 of each stat. I'll revert the page. --TheDotGamer 19:19, 27 April 2007 (CDT)
    • It was quite weird, since I only had that show up with a few of them (and since I'm on an oxy run, I've been consuming a bunch of them). I didn't see it today though, so I wonder if it had to do with the stat day, and some skewing of the offstats? Cooking?

I noticed today that twinkly wads are showing up in the cooking menu. Experiments are progressing, but so far not fruitful. --Sparksol 19:50, 1 November 2007 (CDT)

I don't have the skill necessary to cook Twinkly Wads and Cold Wads. So it's not regular cooking. Can a Saucecrafter check on this?--Rubian77 14:13, 20 August 2010 (UTC)

As it indicates on the page, you need the Way of Sauce to cook those together. --timrem 20:45, 20 August 2010 (UTC)

Adventures

Today I was Volcano Mining with my multi and noticed my twinkly wads didn't give me any adventures. I don't think this was a visual glitch as the adventures didn't register at all, I only got stat gains. I'm not sure what happened. Maybe devs changed wads giving an adventure?--Ki5566 (talk) 03:46, 4 January 2018 (UTC)

  • Correct, they no longer give advs. Same for the guy made of bee pollen. This is apparently part of ensuring spleen-items cannot be used for adventure gains while under standard restrictions.
