Talk:Unaccompanied Miner
Can anyone confirm that this is indeed permable? Mookster 21:06, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
- I permed it. --Bale 21:49, 16 August 2010 (UTC)
What's the effect in Anemone Mine? Is mining completely free, or do you just get the underwater penalty (without Fishy)?--Feliks 14:16, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
- For the moment at least, it is completely free. I just went to the mine, with no Fishy effect, and this skill. I got to dig five times with no adventure loss (buffs did not decrease, adventure counter did not diminish) and the sixth and seventh times I dug cost me two adventures each. Whether this is a bug that will later be fixed remains to be seen; I did /msg it to JLE, as we had talked about it yesterday. I'm hesitant to add it to the page until we get confirmation of it being a bug or not. --Terion 06:32, 19 August 2010 (UTC)
All three mines (dwarves, goblins, and fish) while having UM freebies available:
- INSTRUCTIONS: Starting at the bottom of the mine, click a chunk of rock adjacent to an open section of mine to excavate that space.
Without UM freebies available (and with Fishy, for the Anemone Mine):
- INSTRUCTIONS: Starting at the bottom of the mine, click a chunk of rock adjacent to an open section of mine to excavate that space. Mining a chunk of the cavern wall takes one Adventure.
Anemone Mine without UM freebies and without Fishy:
- INSTRUCTIONS: Starting at the bottom of the mine, click a chunk of rock adjacent to an open section of mine to excavate that space. Mining a chunk of the cavern wall takes two Adventures.
When I spent my last freebie in the Anemone Mine, the turn requirement notification was not there right away; I went to the sea floor, and when I reentered the mine, the notification was there. --Terion 06:23, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
- In my new life, just used my 5 free digs in the dwarves' mine, and the notification did not change after the 5th dig; only once I left the mine and re-entered did it then show the notification that my next dig would take an Adventure.--Terion 19:59, 27 August 2010 (UTC)
As far as I can tell, the bug has been fixed.--Bigben987 13:11, 01 May 2011 (PST)
- Confirmed, I just mined 5 squares and after the fifth, the "takes one adventure" message appeared without having to navigate back to the page. Addendum: I only tested in Itz Mine, not the Shaft or the Sea. --Johnny Treehugger 20:55, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
