Talk:Unstable quark
The Plunger takes your items, fuses them together by mashing them with his plunger, and hands you the result.
There's a startling explosion as the quark's instability spreads. A rush of energy is emitted. You gain 48 Mojo Points.
Got this while try combining it with some Unstable DNA...possibly a new MP restorer?--Toffile 05:01, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
It might give MP based on autosell value, give or take some amount of meat. I got 100 MP from combining with a meat stack and 99 MP from combining with an acoustic guitar.--GoldS 05:05, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, wow, so now moxie classes will be able to convert meat into MP on a 1:1 basis? Nice. Well, only a couple of times per ascension maybe, but that's pretty sweet. --Flargen 05:11, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
With an NG, got 193 MP, 172 MP, and then 197 MP.--GoldS 05:27, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
Can this be combined with non-meatpastable things like dense meat stacks á la a hot stuffing-type exploit? --Mud Man 10:19, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
um, does it destroy the item? Mar
- If the text didn't indicate...yes it destroys the item.--Toffile 16:36, 5 February 2009 (UTC)
- Uh, yes. Autosell value. I think the current cap is 350 meat with pirate zombie robot heads, but ND/NGs are a better choice as they don't contain irreplaceable parts.--Toffile 01:30, 6 February 2009 (UTC)
- There are items with much higher autosell prices. Has anyone tried using this with a facsimile dictionary? I'm curious to see if you can get a blast of over 20000 MP. I'm guessing that there isn't a cap, but we should find out.--Quine 02:31, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

- This cannot be used with the Hot Stuffing trick, it returns the message "That's not something you can meat paste." --Sk1j 16:00, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
Old old, I know, but the new high that I can be aware of is 1500 with the moxie magnet. Get crackin'. Argus 21:44, 21 July 2012 (CEST)
- Just tried it, got 1575 MP. --Johnny Treehugger 02:46, 22 July 2012 (CEST)
Some Data Ranges
- bar skin (5 meat): 4,4,5,4,5,5
- bat wing (15 meat): 14,15,14,14,14,13
- skeleton bone (35 meat): 36, 33, 38, 37, 32, 32, 32, 31, 36, 37, 35, 31, 36
If I had to guess at the actual formula, I'd say 90 to 110% of the selling price, rounded down. This gives the range 4-5 for bar skin, 13-16 for bat wing, and 31-38 for skeleton bones. Obviously, more data points are needed (it's just a p-i-t-a to get these.)--Foggy 18:42, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
- Lowercase N: 53, 55, 53, 46, 48, 55, 47, 52, 51, 47, 56, 51, 45, 52, 47, 47, 52, 50, 53, 53, 52, 48, 53, 46, 46, 46, 51. Expected range of 45-56. 90-110% sounds dandy to me. --TechSmurf 07:47, 22 November 2010 (UTC)
