Talk:Vampire duck

From A KoL Wiki

It opens its bill wide, intent on sinking its fang into your neck and saaaahking your blaaahd. You quickly grab a nearby bulb of garlic and stuff it in the duck's mouth as it approaches. Gotcha! - Is this a miss or a fumble? --Wolf Kain 07:25, 2 July 2007 (CDT)

Speculation

  • It may be a reference to the cartoon Count Duckula? No mention of hating blood though.--Squashed sultana 17:09, 18 July 2007 (CDT)
  • Turning into a mist may be a reference to Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain game series where Kain can transform into mist to escape danger.--Vae Victis 14:00, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
    • I am pretty sure a lot of vampires can do that, so it isn't a reference to Kain, it and Kain are referencing the same thing. Eran of Arcadia 14:35, 2 February 2009 (UTC)

Heart

Has anyone tried killing one of these guys with the wooden stakes equipped to see if it drops a vampire heart? I was recently surprised to see that vampire bats dropped vampire hearts. I can't test this right now because I'm not of the right level, but it should be an easy check.--Quine 19:30, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

"You're fighting a vampire duck

You work up a Lunging Thrust-Smack.

You realize there's a lot at stake in this combat, so you stake your claim on victory by staking it for 21 (+30) damage. WHAMMO! WHACK! BOINK! BOINK! SMACK!

You win the fight!

Kettukari whinnies and tosses her head, her freakishly white teeth gleaming. She accidentally spears your foe with her horn, knocking loose some extra Meat.

You gain 535 Meat.

You acquire an item: duct tape

You gain 16 Strongness.
You gain 25 Magicalness.
You gain 13 Cheek." -- No vampire heart. --Club (#66669) (Talk) 20:09, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
