Talk:Which Door?

From A KoL Wiki

So....is there really any strategic reason at all to use the key option? It takes 15 turns to go through the daily dungeon to get a fat loot token, which means you'd actually be behind a turn, as it takes a 16th to use said key (and only saves 14 fights). You can't pull a key lime pie to get it, as you can't eat anyways. And the GameEtc magazines are out of Standard, not that those would save any turns anyways. Am I missing something here? • Using a Tower card from the Deck of Every Card gets you a key, although it'd have to be on a longer (4 days+) run to be worthwhile. --Fig bucket (talk) 12:09, 23 July 2017 (UTC)
  • Using a 11-foot pole and a lock-o-matic lockpick means it takes only 5 turns, less if you have the ring of boring doors. Albiet this only works if you have access to these equipments from storage.--Tombot (talk) 14:28, 23 July 2017 (UTC)
  • Daily dungeon malware also makes getting a key trivial and someone with multiple methods would have no problem getting multiple keys a day. --Chunky_boo (talk) 19:23, 23 July 2017 (UTC)
