Talk:White hat hacker T-shirt
From A KoL Wiki
it drops in whiteys grove from this adventure
- Hack to the Future
- As you mosey through Whitey's Grove (or sashay, if that's your thing), you encounter a bunch of guys in white cowboy hats who are all chopping down one massive tree with their respective axes.
- "Hey! Stop! What are you doing? You can't just hack away at tree like that!" You shout.
- "It's okay," one of them says, pausing between chops. "We're 'white hat' hackers. We chop down the tree, but then we put it back together and it's stronger than ever before. The ones you want to watch out for are the 'black hat' hackers, who chop down the tree and then steal its identity to buy stuff in the Demon Market."
- You thank them for the illuminating lesson, and they give you a T-shirt to commemorate your learning experience.
- You acquire an item: white hat hacker T-shirt

Nope. A black-hat is a term in computing for someone who compromises the security of a system without permission from an authorized party, usually with the intent of accessing computers connected to the network. (Thanks, 'Kipedia) --The Ni-King 16:28, 13 June 2007 (CDT)
