Talk:Ye Olde Navy Fleece
Found this tonight, while gathering things for a Pagoda. I know, the page isn't done well ... it's my first ever "new item" find, and I'm still learning how to do this ... so, please be kind to my newbie butt. ^_^ Any cleanup / improvement help possible is, of course, extremely welcome! --Bork 22:50, 14 November 2006 (CST)
Is this another once-per-ascension deal? I spent roughly 80 adventures in the Dome, with Smooth Movements, and only got one. Mr. Blonde 02:44, 15 November 2006 (CST)
perhaps one has to do something first? i spent 258 adv in the dome with sonata and the conflict ring and failed to get it even once... --Cameron 03:26, 15 November 2006 (CST)
I must agree with the above comment: just spent 80 adv looking for it, and still got no luck. I have no pagoda in my campsite, could that be related?--Worthstream 03:50, 15 November 2006 (CST)
My HCO multi got 4 in roughly 175 adventures, I was automating turns with auto adventure, but I don't think you have to do anything specific. I don't have a pagoda either. --Tcjellis 04:00, 15 November 2006 (CST)
I had no pagoda at the time (I was just gathering items FOR it actually ... and still had two to go, when I got the drop). I think it's just an RNG thing ... probably an uncommon, maybe outright rare, encounter. It's a NONCOMBAT, so if you up your noncombat rate, as well as lower your combat encoutner rate, that should help you get one. And FWIW, I'm in Hardcore, and only just got Torso Awaregness during this run. I don't recall exactly, but I think I got it after somewhere between thirty and sixty adventures. I'm just seriously thrilled to have found something NEW, and been the first to report it here. Whee! ^_^ --Bork 13:38, 15 November 2006 (CST)
Finally got the Olde Navy Fleece myself. I didn't know if having a pagoda meant you couldn't get this item. I can confirm I DO have a pagoda and WAS able to get the Olde Navy Fleece. --Alldarker 03:10, 17 November 2006 (CST)
- So, that confirmes "pagoda-or-not" does not factor into your chances to get one of these. ^_^ --Bork 20:04, 17 November 2006 (CST)
- One shirt in 179 adventures with Sonata and a Ring of Conflict. --'Ivan 12:16, 15 December 2006 (CST)
New Navy referance
I don't know if this is supposed to be a reference or not, but New Navy is the name that Old Navy (and, by extension, Gap, Inc.) gives to the newer layout of the stores. Specifically, blah blah blah, boring details they look a bit cooler. The text does make a reference to New Navy taking over, so it might be a joke on this... Neito 00:57, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
