Is the item (and most of its description) a reference to Bob Dylan (birth name Robert Allen Zimmerman)? And the "nice lady" at the end of the description would seem to be a Jerry Lewis reference. --Jorgen 07:48, 1 July 2007 (CDT)

• Sure sounds like it. "The mumblin', stumblin', folk-singin' hero of the hippy army" is a pretty good description of how people saw Dylan. How is "nice lady" a Jerry Lee Lewis ref, though? I can't think of any JLL songs with that phrase in them. -- Old Ned 08:21, 1 July 2007 (CDT)
  • I meant the comedian Jerry Lewis. Punctuating things with "nice lady", with some extra/altered emphasis on lady, was something of a standard punchline for him. Not that I'm fan. I received the following attack line - You say, "look out kid, you're gonna get hit," and hit him with a tune from your guitar. Well, you did warn him. ZAP! POW! SPLAT! POW! ZAP! BIFF! ZAP!

Notice how there is no damage. Is there some other intrinsic effect of the guitar?
