  • With one or more days of growth, not within a Pocket Familiars challenge path run:

You stomp around in the tall grass for a while, and eventually a weird little animal or something jumps out! You quickly grab it with both hands and wrestle it into your pack.Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be content to be captured by a regular non-pokéfam-training adventurer, and it quickly escapes anyway. It left something behind, though, so it's not a total waste of time.

Notes

  • On days 1-7, you only harvest patches of grass one at a time.
  • On day 8 becomes Very Tall Grass and will not grow further on subsequent days. Harvesting it and acquiring Pokéfam 46-50 resets the growth to zero.
    • Finding a Mu in Very Tall Grass will only cost 1 growth, reducing growth to 7 patches of grass rather than 0.
  • Using a Poké-Gro fertilizer will increase the growth by 1.
  • Pokéfams that are (Pocket Familiars runs only) do not show up in your terrarium outside of the Pocket Familiars challenge run, but may be seen (and renamed) through the Manage Familiar Names interface, accessed from the link on the Manage your Familiar page.

History

  • On January 1st, 2020, Tall Grass and related items became Standard-restricted and forbidden by their specific path. The first 45 Pokéfam could no longer be created.
    • On or about June 1st, 2021, Quantum Terrarium introduced path-specific Standard restrictions. Tall Grass and related items may be used in Pocket Familiars once again. (However Poké-Gro fertilizer is not generated after Pocket Familiars combats, though it can be pulled and used.)
