From A KoL Wiki

2008: A handful of new Sauceror potions have been added, and all of the old ones have been given unique (and hilarious) consumption messages. Also, eyedrops are no longer taken orally.

2008: The skill training interface in the guild has been altered a little bit -- it now gives you the option to see skills you'll be able to train at higher levels.

2007: With very little fanfare, Hagnk's Ancestral Mini-Storage has finally been fully repaired.

2007: Happy Talk Like a Pirate Day! The residents of the Obligatory Pirates' Cove have some special goodies today. They'll have 'em tomorrow, too, since I forgot to roll this out until so late. It wasn't my fault, though -- it was the rum's fault.

2006: 8 New Zones!

So, yeah. We dropped a significant amount of new content in tonight. Finding it will be at least 1% of the fun! Please note that we'll probably be tweaking and/or rebalancing the new content over the next couple of weeks as we watch people play with it, so please feel free to constructively criticise in the forums.

As always with new content, though, please refrain from posting spoilers in chat or the forums for at least a couple of days. Secrets abound in the new areas, and you wouldn't want to ruin them for people, now, would you? Even if you would, we don't want you to, so please don't.

In other news, we've made a change to the way rollover works. We've found a way to cut about 15-18 minutes off of rollover, but in exchange, one day of the week, we have to have a long rollover. So, from now on, every rollover on Saturday will be a lot longer than the other six. We're not sure how long it will take, but we're estimating, at most, 2 hours. (Hopefully it won't take that long.)

2005: A new accessory, the pirate hook, appeared mysteriously in some players' inventories, obviously as a nod to International Talk Like a Pirate Day. The criteria used to determine which players received hooks is as-yet unknown.

2005: After tonight, LARP tickets for KoLCon II will no longer be available in the store. So, if you wanna play in the LARP and haven't bought your ticket yet, now's your last chance.

2005: You can now edit the names of all of your familiars at once.

  • At around 5:10 EST, this addition generated an amusing, though mostly harmless, bug that showed Jick's terrarium rather than the player's own when the player tried to access the Familiar-Gro™ Terrarium. This caused a panic maintenence period, and plenty of nervous laughter.

2005: The Tr4pz0r will now trade furs in quantity.
